I'm going to take a stab here.  August 5 2 years ago was a Sunday.  I was thinking initially you might have been on the Symphony but if it's Alaska my second guess would be Celebrity.  I see they have an itinerary that leaves Vancouver Friday and is in Ketchikan Sunday.  Could it be Ketchikan?

No wonder you’re so good at this game dragging out a magnifying glass, Patty. You put us Googler’s to shame!

As info, it’s not an Alaskan City. ‘Nor in India!

My only fun photo for your entertainment. Anyone up for a dip?

I think I'm going to have to pull out my 1970's era London photos to share. They've been in a trunk being dragged hither and yon for the past 45 years.

I’m suddenly looking for 70’s music to play this afternoon!

Anyone have suggestions for a 70’s cocktail?

LOL -- GMTA Patty -- you literally read my mind!  That was exactly what I thought when I read Brian's message!  I have a bottle of Galliano if you need it, Brian.

@fyree39 Great picture Cindy!!

Anyone want to take a stab at the location?

Whitehorse, Yukon?  (I used Patty's method, with much less exciting results...  Such is my life these days.  😒 )

Since it's happy hour (again?  already?) in my corner of the world right now, how about "ID That Cocktail"?  🥴  This one should be pretty easy because the garnish is less common.

One of our favourites - is it per chance a pink flower cocktail. I always get it wrong and think the name is pink lady for some reason!

You got it, Shirin!  The honorable mention goes to Anne, who was on the right track with the description.

Right you are, Vince!  Curious what tipped you off?

Whitehorse really was a great place to visit. But you’d never know it judging by the parking lot view from our hotel room at the Westmark!

Harvey Wallbangers all around the house on me tonight!  Raise a toast to Canada’s Yukon Territory AND Cindy’s 70’s swim garb!

I took this photo two years ago today, August 5, 2018. It’s provided chuckles ever since.

Even though it was a Sunday, the offer of “free weekend parking” wasn’t bringing out the locals to cash in on the deal. From our wandering around town that day, it didn’t seem apparent that parking is ever a serious problem here. But I always say never never pass up an opportunity when it’s staring you in the face! 👌

Careful.  You're about to cross a line there, buddy.

But I really did do 13 years hard time in Fresno from '79 to '92.

No, not behind bars.

But living there is pretty much a prison sentence.

I had to google the sign (after squinting) like Patty did, but if that didn’t work plan B was to look up places with few cars but hundreds of reserved parking spaces.  😁

Today's sunrise is instead a sunset from the prelude to my 2016 Northwest Passage Cruise.  On August 6,2016 I left Bellingham WA on the Alaska ferry Kennicott and was treated to a very nice sunset.

I've got nothing, doesn't look like anything I've seen. However, based on the trees, I'd say far northeast or far northwest, more than likely northwest and possibly Canada.

For the trivia folks to add to their knowledge base:

What is the largest city in the contiguous 48 states that is NOT serviced by an Interstate Highway?

You got it!  I realized later I had not seen it from Crystal.  I was there in 2012 and that day I was on a volonteerism tour to Ft. Stevens State Park on the coast.  I tool the photo when I was on Lindblad's Sea Bird in 2001

As an ex-Fresnan, I’ll add that to my “Fun Fresno Facts” trivia list. And I have a feeling its cousin to the south, Bakersfield, is the 2nd largest city without an Interstate highway.

Fresno and Bakersfield often vie one another for top billing on the worst places to live in the US list. In the early 80’s, the Chamber of Commerce had a big campaign called “Feelin’ GOOD about Fresno” in an attempt to elevate the city’s image.

The mid-80’s TV miniseries “Fresno” parodying Dallas, Falcon Crest and Dynasty with an all-star line up was considered a flop!

The Galliano Vince loaned me never arrived. And it was too late to break shelter-in-place to do a Total Wine run to buy some. By that time I’d polished off two of the pink flowers!

I did the same voluntourism with Crystal in ‘16! Enjoyed that very much.

Returned to Astoria with American Queen’s Lewis & Clark itinerary a year later.
