september cruise cancelled

Our September cruise was just cancelled. I see that there's a 125% credit offered or should we do a lift and switch for the same price departing the last week in January?

I would take the 125% credit and use it for any Cruise of my liking in 2021

Lift and shift needs to be with 4 weeks before or after the week you have scheduled but in 2021. Unless they changed it that will not work.

Agree with above and also January is too early to book another cruise IMO.

From what I've read, the 125% credit is only for cruise planner options.

As of now October Cruises are definitely on in the middle East and Asia

I am expecting the same to happen for our cruise in November. We have thought about L&S, but that puts on Thanksgiving week only in 2021 (we are holiday booked now). There is only one cruise on an Oasis class ship with an itinerary we like. But we also don't want to wait 16 months for vacation either. If our cruise is canceled, we will have to decide what to do based on cruise prices when we can go again.

And then provide FCCs instead of refunds?

Agree that January seems too soon.  We are thinking about shifting our January one now to January 2022. We already had 2 cancelled this year and took the refunds, but don’t want to do that again.  That way we can move our insurance along with it 

 

We still have other insurance vouchers and flight vouchers to use on something next year.

Every cancelled sailing has given the customer the choice of a 125% FCC or a 100% refund.

NCL website showing all cruises worldwide "Sold Out" through the end of October. You can mock book up to select a cabin then you get the sold out message.

We will see if this is a temporary weekend issue but if it continues on Monday then very likely you can expect the cancellation notice soon.

Around the middle of August. Final payments will be all made by then.
