Allure 5/30/21?   Just bidding my time while RCI holds onto my funds for that...and holds...and holds.  😣  Was paid for with an FCC, so have to wait for reissue.

There is that, but I was talking abour Mariber on June 18

Allure is our annual Casino Royale cruise, so it's been paid for since I booked it.

How about a thread that deals ONLY with real documented facts from Cruise lines, Crew Members and Ports of Call / Departure.

Will get lots of views and hopefully only a few replies, but when there is a reply it contains factual information.

Just a thought .

There are very little facts. One fact is everyone wants this to go away so we can start cruising again. Other than that most is all speculation. Wished I had more facts.

I have fact checked that fact and it’s factually accurate.

Fact:  Sometimes I wonder if that is true with the comments I read on CC.

Nope, holding on to every bit of negative press/BS they consume.  Many are starting to realize they were wrong!

People will generally accept facts as truth only if the facts agree with what they already believe.......

Whose facts?  Almost all "facts" are just someone's opinion.  Even if I say "the sky is blue" someone can come along and say "it's a particular shade of blue".  Which is more factual?  Neither is untrue, but which is less untrue?  Fact is, I feel x about something and you feel y about it.  Your "truth" isn't my "truth" but they're both true.

Right now the sky is black.

                         ‘DUBIOUS FACTOIDS OF GENERIC PERSUASION’

Cruising will begin again when it does.

Test cruises must have a 95% efficacy rating for 75% of the 25% of passengers allowed on board.

Two Covid19 vaccinations are required to complete the cruise. Those persons with one shot only must get off the ship at the half-way point. Persons with no shots may wave goodbye at the pier while socially distanced and properly masked.

Passengers must board only at their designated times, and then only if their personal timepieces match the clock on the cruising wall. Verification of two masks per cruising day is required, not counting Halloween masks.

Crewmembers serving the welcome-aboard-champagne will be hidden so not everyone can find them. Can’t find it, can’t drink it.

To minimize crowding while providing the most thorough and realistic lifeboat drills, passengers will be divided into groups across all cruising days. Life jackets are not required although masks are. Obviously, some will be participating on the final day of the cruise.

Cabin crawls will be restricted to cabin residents only, and only with picture I.D.

All dining venues will have single seating only. Persons five and under are the only ones allowed to sit together and must possess required binky.

Masks not required in bathroom stalls unless needed for reasons other than Covid19.

Passengers are not allowed at the ship’s officers meet and greet.

Personal unescorted touring is allowed, as long as all citizens have agreed to leave the city during the ship’s time in port.

Hope this works.

I guess 2020, I didn't make Prime until '19

Ah ok.  My 2019 tier cruise was scheduled for March 28, 2020 last year so was cancelled. Me, thinking we would be all over this by now moved it to March 2021. Now that that is a no-go, they allowed the 2019 one to be moved up to the end of 2021. I had so many booked Aug-Dec there was no room, so I booked a three day in July... hoping that if they cancel it, they will extend the 2019 beyond Dec 31st of this year.

NEW C.D.C. RULES as of RIGHT NOW..

"Indoor visits or gatherings by fully vaccinated people no longer require social distancing or the wearing of masks..."

By Fully Vaccinated they mean 2 weeks after the second dose of Pfizer or Moderna,  or 2 weeks after the Jansen single dose.

BY THE WAY... THIS IS A FACT.

If this is fact then I would certainly support mandatory vaccination to sail with no exceptions. It would seem this would get the on board experience as close to normal as possible.

Where did you see the info?

The kicker is the NO EXCEPTIONS part.  I believe in Israel the kids don't need to be vaccinated, they just need a negative test in order to sail

Humans do not like the reality check - they feel diminished, submissive, fooled, angry; they better accept a hypocrisy orgy plus to be someone else’s responsibility to take care of their lives.
