On my 7 day cruises -

Cruise #1

embarkment, sea,  port 8-5,  port 8-10,  port 8-6,  port 7-4,  sea,  disembarkment

I think it will be first sea,  port 7-4.  What do you think?

Cruise #2

embarkment, sea,  port 10-6,  port 7-4,  port 9-5,  port 10-6,  sea,  disembarkment

I think it will be first sea,  port 7-4 or  port 9-5.  What do you think?

Formal nights are usually sea nights and never the last night (usually) since you have your bags packed for debarkation the nest day.

Kind of a bummer to the formal night that soon and not in the middle of the cruise.

The wouldn't normally setup B2B FN's in the middle of a short cruise.  The first sea day (Night 2) is quite normal and logical as it the Captain's Welcome Aboard night.

#2 - I suspect the 5 PM departure day as the 4 PM departure day is too close to the first formal evening.

Perhaps, but I have had two formal dinner nights with one day in between.  Also, the 5pm departure time is right at the early dinner time.  Hard to know for sure until one sees the embarkation Patter.

We have Sail/Sea/12-8/8-6/7-5/Sea/Sea/Disembark

So I am guessing first and second Sea Day. Right ?

Second night aboard seems soon but no better way to fit two nights in, no reason to use a Port day.

I would assume you are correct.

A skirt should at least cover the knees.

Unless it's a kilt, then the kilt skirt may leave the knees exposed. I do love to see a fine kilt!

Correct.  The second night of the trip is quite popular on Princess voyages if the itinerary allows because it is the Captain's Welcome Aboard theme night.

This is when one wears polished patent leather shoes to actually see what's under that kilt. Or shoe mirrors like Pee Wee Herman used.

I would not try that trick on a member of one of the Highland Regiments.
