KeepCalmBearOn Posted June 4, 2021 #3 Share Posted June 4, 2021 Formal nights are usually sea nights and never the last night (usually) since you have your bags packed for debarkation the nest day. Kind of a bummer to the formal night that soon and not in the middle of the cruise.

The first sea day (Night 2) is quite normal and logical as it the Captain's Welcome Aboard night.
KeepCalmBearOn Posted June 4, 2021 #5 Share Posted June 4, 2021 it's been awhile since I've been on a cruise shorter than 14 nights. I think my last 7 night was seven or eight years ago.

Perhaps, but I have had two formal dinner nights with one day in between. Also, the 5pm departure time is right at the early dinner time. Hard to know for sure until one sees the embarkation Patter. Tedferg Posted June 4, 2021 #14 Share Posted June 4, 2021 We have Sail/Sea/12-8/8-6/7-5/Sea/Sea/Disembark So I am guessing first and second Sea Day. Right ? Second night aboard seems soon but no better way to fit two nights in, no reason to use a Port day.

The second night of the trip is quite popular on Princess voyages if the itinerary allows because it is the Captain's Welcome Aboard theme night. rbtan Posted June 5, 2021 #18 Share Posted June 5, 2021 Usually the first full day at sea. This is subject to change by Captain's orders.

This is when one wears polished patent leather shoes to actually see what's under that kilt. Or shoe mirrors like Pee Wee Herman used.
