Sitting in the Martini drinking Bombay French 75s, not too sweet. Don’t judge me! I arrived about 10 minutes before Larry.  😁.🍸🍸

Looks really good!  Do they have a special menu at the martini bar? Not big on martini's but would like to see what else they have.

They have quite a large menu, plus you can get regular mixed drinks, beer, & wine.

Elemis. At least those are the products the massage therapist tried to sell me. But she wasn’t pushy, so I added a nice extra tip.

  Thanks

My post went mia.. strange??? trying again.

Seems CR is gone,  they were pricey and I did not like their products.

I use Elemis products at home,,cheaper  online , they give free samples and no lugging it home in carryons!

Initially it was because not all of the passengers had reported to their muster stations to complete the safety drill. Then the captain announced that one passenger had not been tested, so they were going to test that person onboard and wait for the results. Once we were ready, we had to wait for 2 cargo ships before we could start.

That matches what I saw on the port webcam and heard on port radio.

Today we were in Nassau, and Larry and I decided to stay onboard. We started with cappuccino and an almond croissant at Cafe al Bacio. It was too late for breakfast in Blu, so we headed to the Oceanview Cafe. Half a grapefruit and a smoked salmon egg Benedict did the trick for me. Larry had 2. We both agreed we liked the classic better. We lazed around the Solarium, even got into a hot tub for a few minutes. We had no trouble finding loungers where we wanted to be. I headed to the spa — spent some time in Persian Gardens, then went to my seaweed wrap and full body massage (first time for the seaweed wrap). It was wonderful! I highly recommend “Beth” from the Phillipines (sp?). She did a real deep tissue massage and reflexology on my feet.
After that, I met up with Larry in the Solarium and we headed to a very late lunch at Oceanview. Sitting on our balcony now just watching the sea. 😁

What I like to do... is get my english muffin... and cream cheese, capers and a slice of tomato... then have the poached egg guy or gal...place salmon, a poached egg and hollandaise sauce... now that is the way to make a smoked salmon benedict.... Cheesecake Factory used to offer this... add some roasted potatoes on the side.

Last night’s dinner in Blu was tasty as usual. I had the almond crusted baked Brie and Larry had the smoky gazpacho for starters — both delicious. And they had the short ribs last night — one of our favorites, so we both had that. Larry had the apple tart tatain and I had the creme brûlée. We finished the night losing money in the casino.

Today is a relaxing sea day.

My friend Beth is on your cruise and loving the martini bar. If you happen to meet her tell her Walter says hi! : )  Enjoy each moment!!

Is this feasible if the servers are serving you?  When we were once on Celebrity after a deep cleaning due to a noro outbreak on the previous sailing…the staff served your plate and if you went to different stations they would give you a new plate.  So eggs on one plate, given my croissant on another…

Curious if the Captain has  mentioned anything about the Tropical Storm Fred that is forming in the area and if the seas are rough?

Would like to know this as well.  We leave on Equinox Sunday, 8/15.

I did this back in the olden days... 2019-2020 pre March... made my english muffin with cc, capers and tomato... then they added egg and hollandaise.. I might have placed the salmon first...not use how that would work today..

What would you call that?  Not quite a Eggs Benedict...maybe a Eggs (John) Andre`?

I guess we need someone onboard to tell us exactly how “the staff serve your plates” works.  As I say, on my post noro cruise the staff served your plate in the buffet for the first two days.  It made sense to me that the croissant server wouldn’t want the tongs to touch the plate with my eggs that I’m holding and proffer to them…. Perhaps they’ve had time to figure out the quickest/logical way to serve the guests.  Since I tend to “graze” at buffets and want a little bit of lots of things I certainly don’t want to be juggling multiple plates…🐷

Thank you for sharing your Equinox experiences. We will on her in November, also in Aqua class, so I really appreciate seeing your Blu menus.

If you have a chance, when passing by the iLounge, could you see if they are selling the Air Pod Pros (earbuds)?

Thank you and enjoy the rest of your cruise!

As long as you use a clean plate, should be ok right?  This thread wins the award for most interesting topic.

On the Edge it was everything on one plate unless you asked for something in a bowl or a smaller plate. No juggling.😉
