I shared a link to this thread with some folks who will be on the same cruise I am on in December. They are TA, as well, and they absolutely loved all of your photos. Your photos beat all to he!! the stock photos from Virgin. Nice work!

And I am at work today as well. Besides being a part-time TA I also work in a casino, so no holidays off for me. We will survive.

Significant downgrade from the food I've been enjoying all week on the ship and in Miami... Kroger pizza. Tonight, though the owner of my company is taking me to dinner at a nice restaurant as a late birthday dinner... Stay tuned...

Sid - Is it possible to cruise on VV if you don't have a smart phone? I am real old school and only have a simple flip phone.

Honestly, I believe that it would be next to impossible to sail without a smartphone, as everything as far as online check in is performed on the app... Also, on board everything you do is tied to the app... You could try calling and asking them yourself, but they're known for giving inaccurate information.

Unable to like or post most of yesterday.

Sad it’s over with but happy it was even better than you hoped. All that walking must be good for your metabolism as holy moley you can put away some food not to mention beverages-and still stay slim.

Looking forward to your next cruise.

That Kroger pizza actually doesn't look half bad!  But I'm sure it's not on a par with Houston's!  Enjoy another night of fine dining!

I don’t get a lunch break at work, just a 15 minute break. Got home and heated up some leftover baked ziti. Woohoo. Forget about dinners at a steakhouse!

Enjoy yourself, Sid. You are a very lucky guy.

Off to watch Below Deck with some wine.

I also look at Below Deck, I like them all.

Dun dun dun!!!......

Margarita issues...

I've personally eaten at this place dozens of times, maybe fifty or more at least... Their margaritas are always spot on, every single time, no matter what... Well, on the first round to, we bought them straight from the bar, from the main bartender. They were maybe 80% as good as usual, but not up to their usual standard. The second round arrived, and something at this point was clearly off. It tasted like mostly lime and whatever else is in a margarita that's NOT tequila... I'm not accusing them of trying to short us, just that whoever mixed them must've been new... Anyhoo, they ended up bringing over a glass half full of tequila over to our table, and suggested that we "augment" our drinks with that... The point wasn't that they weren't strong enough, it's just because they didn't possess the "balance" that's expected at such a high level establishment... Long story short: they brought over a glass full of straight tequila...

That story aside: my main course this evening was the double cut pork chop with red cabbage with goat cheese, and the pomme puree (aka: mashed potatoes)

I just now dug this gift from Virgin Voyages from the bottom of my suitcase... The bottle opener, that claims to also be a wine opener, but I don't see how.

Does the top (long) part twist at all? It looks like a corkscrew might be hid in the middle part!

Keep in mind that these items were just left laying about when I arrived. I could only assume that they were promotional items. I dare them to send me a bill for this stuff...

It does say that they’re gifting you the sextant......
