We have the Signature Beverage Pack as part of the Have It All promo.

Looking at our onboard bill on the TV, no drinks are showing.  I wish I could say I have been a good boy and did not imbibe, but..........I did, several times..................a day. 😋

So that would imply that they are not posting the 'free' drinks and therefore will not count towards on board spend nor towards Mariner status.

Hmm, interesting.  I saw the free drink allowance once in a blue moon on the Navigator app but not all the time and did receive the mariner credit.

 

Nothing showed on the paper one I printed off.  

 

When you are done your cruise (and no I am not rushing that 😉) and get your Mariner update hope you will confirm if you did or not?  I think you will based on past experience but I could be in error.

I'm thinking we must have gotten credit for the drinks or the package or something because we got 7 out of 7 days spending credit.  I know we didn't spend that much!   Unless they gave me credit for all those unused Pinnacle Grill reservations I didn't really have.

 

Just to explain that - there was a software glitch somewhere.   We had two reservations but it was showing up as 3.  I had it fixed in the Neptune Lounge.   The PG manager then said I had 5 reservations.  I told him to ignore that because only two of  us were coming.  He changed it.  Next thing  you know, I had 7 reservations.  I decided to leave things alone because I knew where this was going.

Will it work or won’t it?  Strangely, my notifications were at the top of the page, but at the bottom of the page it wanted me to sign in.  But then wouldn’t let me sign in.  Finally after jumping around a bit, I seem to be able to write a post.  
 

Going  back to last night, we went to Tamarind with Tony and Martha.  Another great meal!  Pat and I shared 3 servings of the tempura shrimp, Tony made a meal of just appetizers, and Martha and I had the duck.  Pat chose the lamb chops.  I think the menu might be a bit changed, and there are a few items with an extra charge, so I will post it and a few of the dishes.

Sorry, the fifth picture down was the crab legs with the extra $15 charge.  But because Tony only ordered appetizers, they just charged him the $15 and no charge for the dinner!

The When and Where for today.  We were a bit late docking, as the pilot didn’t appear on time.  The Captain sounded annoyed when he made the announcement.  When we did disembark, closer to 11, there were no checks at all, we just strolled through to the busses.  We got bac to the ship around 1:30 and managed to get lunch in the Lido.  A chocoholic’s delight - there was chocolate mousse, chocolate cupcakes, and mud pie.  The waiter serving said the mud pie was the best, so that and a scoop of chocolate ice cream completed a nice lunch.

Returning to the ship was as easy as leaving, just a scan of our key cards as we boarded.  There was a letter in our door saying we would have to fill out a Passenger Locator form for Slovenia on line and get a QR code, but Pat had done that already from home, hopefully it is all correct.

 

Then a nap, we are still in a different time zone,.  One problem I had been having is now resolved - I had not been able to do the time change on my Fitbit using the ship’s intranet, but it worked on the HOHO bus! 
 

Then we had a very nice dinner in the Pinnacle with VMax1700 and his DW, I will post a few pictures in the morning, I image everyone has had enough food porn for one day!

@Vict0riannenjoying your review and everything you’ve gone through just to get on the ship.  Love the photos and so happy you’re having a great time (and I’m just slightly jealous!!). 
 

Regarding CC-it’s been an ongoing problem especially for iPhone users on safari with continually getting signed out etc.  Moderator said they’ve been working on it for months (with no luck obviously).

It’s not just iPhone.  It’s iPad, my Samsung phone and my desktop.

Ugh…I use my iPhone 99% of the time so wasn’t sure about other products.  It’s extremely annoying basically getting logged out every time so having to go into safari to clear the CC stuff then trying to log in again.  
 

I feel for the people on the ship struggling with not only CC but the ship internet too.

Yeah that’s got to be a huge pain on the ship.  I’m grateful for those that have and continue to let us know how things are going.

I used Google Chrome on my iphone on the Nieuw Amsterdam and had no problems posting to Cruise Critic or any other site.

This morning on CC, to begin with, I had some notifications, but when I came to the bottom of the page, I was asked to sign in - very strange.  I wandered around for a while on different threads, and eventually CC decided I really was me, and is letting me post. I hope.  
 

After dinner last night we stopped by the Lincoln Centre, it was packed.  I’m not sure I will want to attend.  It seems like it is the old Explorers Lounge, with chairs set up close together in rows.  I wish they could use something like the old Queen’s Lounge, now BB King’s, just for the space.  
 

We are spending a lot of time in our room, I haven’t even checked out the shops.  But I will.  We walked around the aft Lido deck yesterday.  There were no masks on anyone around the pool at all, except the staff.  The NY Pizza out there seemed popular.  
 

Riain the Lido persuaded Pat to book the Canaletto for next Saturday.  She assured him they can make his special request for spaghetti carbonara even though it’s not on the menu.
