We cruise Jan 10th, if we get that email for our Navigator cruise that will be the final straw and we will definitely cancel.

We cruise Jan 17th on Navigator and have no problem following policy whatever it is by then.

Not everywhere "up north".  Michigan dropped indoor masking about 5 months ago.  Most states have, except the coasts and Illinois.

We the North = Canada 😉

The True North strong and free.  See, it's even in our national anthem. ☺️

Yeah, I just started another thread on this. I am very unhappy about this. I don't know if I want to go on our 9-day New Year's Eve cruise, having to wear masks indoors even if in vaccinated venues.

Looks like a lot of 'actively eating and drinking' to me...until the fear fades yet again.

Just got the email also. I'm wondering if the solarium is included in this as an indoor space. We will be on Odyssey and its fully enclosed. I'm not going to be a huge fan of sitting in the solarium and pools in the solarium with a mask.

That is a great question (solarium: indoor or outdoor)...

I did a quick search on the other cruiseline boards.  Celebrity, not yet.  NCL has instituted this (and their clients are not happy).  Have not seen any mention on the Carnival brands....HAL, Princess.

I think it's already in effect on HAL - at least it was on our cruise in November.

We sail on January 3rd. Reflex reaction by my husband was annoyance. But I honestly didn't expect to spend much time in vaccinated only indoor venues anyway, so I really don't care one way or the other. Can not wait to cruise again! And maybe with other people who care cancelling, we will have a less crowded ship 😃

This is incorrect.  I’m on a Dec 20 cruise and I just got a refund basis the change in protocol.  Took some urging but it happened.

If the reservation was booked using FCC they would have to get FCC again, no? If it was paid regularly then maybe a refund? Just a guess on my part.

Shows, diamond lounge, casino. I was very glad to take off my mask in the theater. That's the one thing rcl had over carnival.

I'm onboard now and people are mostly ignoring the 5 to a elevator. Sometimes but not always. We all just joke we are the same group. Sign says 5 or same group.

I'll see fewer shows if I have to keep a mask on.

I'm in the same boat, but I assume a different actual boat  😄 .

Who knows if they will actually enforce it.  There was definitely lack of enforcement last week on Anthem.

It doesn't matter if they enforce it or not. If the rule is in place it creates a level of stress not knowing what the situation will be.

Princess has required masks indoors all along.

I see people who try to get on a elevator maskless and the elevator isn't moving as someone holds the door until the person puts on a mask or exits.  It's really an integrity issue.  You said (signed a document) you'd wear a mask according to RCI rules.  Wear it or don't cruise.  Your option.  The guy holding the door said a nice maskless photo of you, the maskless person, on social media where maybe your boss can see you have a integrity issue may be in order.  Cruising is dependent on a safe environment based on the adherence of all passengers.
