emmas gran Posted April 9, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2022 To be honest not a lot of difference between this and a regular balcony, Aqua gives a different dining room (Blu).
jelayne Posted April 9, 2022 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2022 You may have a lunch on boarding day in the MDR, you will get some canapés delivered to your cabin daily ( so-so), you get a bottle of sparking wine ask your cabin attendant. There is a Concierge who can assist you if you have a problem or want to book a specialty restaurant or excursion.

TeeRick Posted April 9, 2022 #5 Share Posted April 9, 2022 We sailed Concierge Class once. It is a way to give Celebrity extra money for a balcony cabin with next to nothing in return.
Purplsmurf Posted April 9, 2022 #6 Share Posted April 9, 2022 We are in our first Concierge cabin next month. We booked it because it was cheaper than a veranda. We actually have 3 of our next 4 booked in Concierge because it was cheaper. One is on Millennium so the cabin is also a little bigger

Same as aqua, and less than suites. Edited April 9, 2022 by leaveitallbehind
GottaKnowWhen Posted April 10, 2022 #8 Share Posted April 10, 2022 11 hours ago, grest said: Have never been in this category....how to access and services offered? Thank you. On Celebrity we’ve only used Concierge class. We enjoy the embarkation day sit down lunch, the canapés (or cheese plate) every afternoon, the occasional sail-in or sail-away from the helicopter pad. A concierge has helped us with on board and other issues that otherwise we would have had to chase down ourselves. The bottle of sparkling wine is just ok but you can ask for a swap with another wine if you like. The room-service menu for breakfast is said to be more extensive, I haven’t taken advantage and can’t vouch for that. I prefer the location of Concierge cabins, not tucked under the pool deck like Aqua, not so low as to have some blocked views of the sea below like many veranda cabins. Two of my future cruises are not in Concierge (e.g., a sunset veranda for Alaska cruises) and it was a struggle for me to give up Concierge for the benefits I’ll have with my alternative. I’ll let you know in a few years whether I think I made the right decision. Stan 5
RichYak Posted April 10, 2022 #9 Share Posted April 10, 2022 I've only ever booked Concierge for the aft cabins on M-class ships. I suppose the extra points got me to Elite quicker, but that was an unintended benefit.

Yes, we booked it because we like the aft facing....the rest is a bonus.
Rare kmhkmb Posted April 10, 2022 #12 Share Posted April 10, 2022 I understood that Concierge Class includes a special meal but that it is no longer held on embarkation day - can anyone confirm?
wrk2cruise Posted April 10, 2022 #13 Share Posted April 10, 2022 For a time after the restart they had moved it from embarkation day. However on the last several sailings it has been held on embarkation day.

wildcats40 Posted April 10, 2022 #15 Share Posted April 10, 2022 We were in Concierge class in March and had embarkation lunch on the Apex. They'll have a card in the cabin letting you know which dining room it is in. Also, at the end of the cruise we were assigned to a dining room for disembarkation which was nice. The Concierge was also very helpful with questions we had. Whether this is worth the additional cost is up to the individual.
grest Posted April 11, 2022 Author #16 Share Posted April 11, 2022 Our checkin time is 1pm, so I guess a luncheon is out of the question!

If we couldn’t get an aft facing then we would go for a standard veranda room. Not too bothered about the concierge extras.
