Do adult dress up on princess for Halloween

You will see a crowd of passengers who dress up.  Depends if there is a "tour group" on board.  The cruise I did out of FLL had about 50 people on a tour.  Most of them dressed up for Halloween (pre-covid).  So did staff.  Wasn't so much (post covid) on a California Coastal (more civilized...?   just kidding).

There was a Princess Theater dress up contest (with mostly homemade costumes).   Participants from the group didn't show up.  The more serious ones had elaborate outfits.

It very much depends where tge cruuse is at the time.

We were on an unusually late Mediterranean cruise, and basically,  no one bothered. Haloween is no big deal in Europe,  unless you are under ten.

If you are on Enchanted Oct 29/22 join the roll call. Say where you are staying & others might share a ride.

Our first Regal trip (pre-Covid) was over the Halloween holiday NY-Bahama's RT. Yes several people dressed up. We didn't but had a wonderful time watching everybody having a great time in the Atrium on Halloween. Some people went all out :). Enjoy the parade of outfits even if you don't dress up great fun.

We were part of the cabin crawl (not sure this is done anymore) and I put out a huge bowl of wrapped candies.

Hidden deep down inside of each and every adult is a child. Don't worry about what someone may think, indulge yourself and go for it. By all means dress up in some sort of costume and relive those carefree days of youth. Wife and I will be on a cruise over Halloween, we intend to wear our hockey teams jerseys. I will more than likely have to leave my Goalie stick at home tho.😃

We were on the Majestic last Halloween and the decorations and people in costumes were amazing. It was a 7-day Mexican Riviera cruise, so lots of Day of the Dead displays in all of the ports.

we didn't dress up - but a lot did - one family had a whole 'star wars theme' costumes that easily took up a good sized suitcase by themselves.

there was a holdover group of about 50-75 cruisers on a b2b ( out of about 500 or so we were told on the previous cruise ).  They also 'dressed up (some R rated)' and also dominated the aft "adult" pool area, one of our go to places. We were shocked, to say the least, when we encountered that group upon going to that bar for our sailaway drinks.  We found another place(s) for the remainder of the cruise.

Yes, some people do dress up.   Also, there was a contest for best costume for crew.  Entertainers and photo department not allowed since they have access to costumes.  The crew really enjoyed it.

Not really.  I have seen some adults dress up when I was on a cruise in Egypt, they were at the disco late at night dressed in sheets as mummies having a great time.   Have done a few Halloween cruises, generally the wait staff in MDR does dress up.

Love those awesome pictures!

I haven't been on a Halloween Cruise, but when it was a thing for the BeatleManiacs to be onboard, I took a 50's looking outfit to wear when they were in the Piazza that evening.  So, I kind of wore a costume.

They seem to be doing 1980's themed short cruises.   I can see a Cyndi Lauper / Madonna thing one night for that.

We've been on ships 3- or 4-times during Halloween and it is always a blast.  People and staff dress up, they decorate the atrium and on one cruise, they had a haunted hallway down in the belly of the ship that was so much fun. They had costume contests too.   We've seen the Matre'd dressed as a sumu wrestler, bouncing against everyone.  The casino staff dresses up too.  So much fun!  These were not group trips.  We just booked a regular cruise and everyone was having fun.  edited to add - all these were Caribbean cruises.

That sounds like a bear cruise. 🥺

A friend of mine accidentally booked her family, including a young boy, on a bear cruise. She said they had to stay out of the adults only area. She also said she wished the cruise line would have made them aware with that booking.

We sailed on the Ruby last Halloween, and we saw a few (emphasis on the "few") people dressed up.
