Went went for a walk on the boardwalk and beach. Busy at 9am.

Well we managed to get another hotel after Hampton Inn and Suites Miami/Brickell Downtown “Walked” us (read that’s the term) and now we are at a hotel close to the other but a whole lot nicer. That’s a $800 per night nicer than the $400 we were to pay at Hampton.

On our way to Atlanta. For those who know my last episode, YES I’m drinking water

 

 

We only have one experience of being walked . We arrived at the Sheraton on 7th Ave in NYC to be told they were fully booked.  They walked us to the W on Park Ave and I didn’t care for that hotel . So back to the Sheraton we go and told them walk someone else and they did.  It didn’t hurt that my hubby is upper tier for life in their frequent stay program.  
 

Sorry that you are having another hotel headache.  You most likely want to get to a hotel and relax and not fight this today .    However, they are in the wrong and you should be compensated for the difference in what it is going to cost you . You might have a better chance of that happening if the Hampton Inn walked you . I’m not a TA so not sure about that.

Someone over on Oasis FB group said they were told their delay was due to a rocket launch. I looked at this. Would this cause all flights in Florida to be delayed?

Maybe at MCO but doubt the whole state.  No rain anywhere and winds are out of the North so that should help flights.

I was there at 7:30, really enjoyed my morning walk today. Temperature was 68F, delightful.

I can recommend a restaurant called Tiki Tiki about 2 miles north of you. It's on the intracoastal. Very casual and Florida funky.

RCI Lists terminal A parking opens for embark pax at 10am. We wanted to get there earlier to snag a handicap spot. Anyone have additional info?

@John&LaLa   I'm putting the O/U for Costa Maya at 2.  Winds usually pick up in the afternoon and the Seascape docks later.   But that said, seems like all 4 ships were docked last Thursday with pretty strong winds.

Last time we were in Miami, we got there at 9:50 and were able to get in.  Similarly in FLL.  Port Canaveral in January they stopped you until 10:05.

I think it’s just dumb luck. 😒 My friends daughter is flying from Atlanta to Miami . She just boarded -on time . Our delay in Chicago is almost 2 hours

We’re here in Miami.  I see palm trees!  Pretty uneventful flight (as it should be).  Even arrived about 15 minutes early.   Now to go find our luggage and grab an Uber. 
 

Sorry to those who are delayed.  Hopefully, it will be smooth sailing the rest of the way.

Go Pro App with Go Pro Studio but the app does not support it anymore. It’s nice because they have some nice plug and play templates.

We will take a taxi or Uber to hotel then probably the same for tomorrow to the cruise port. It will be expensive but so has just about everything on this trip has been.
