So do we think this is for new bookings only?  We have 3 cruises on the books. So, curious.

Same here. I've emailed our cvp but haven't heard back yet.

Again, kind of hind sight.  Princess did not expect the flack they received (17 pages) regarding the "new" OBC policies.

Appease the veterans....on "select cruises" and NEW bookings only.

I wrote to my CVP several hours ago and am awaiting an answer. I fully expect to hear the boilerplate answers either that it's on new bookings only or only applicable to certain bookings.

HOWEVER, as I (a retired attorney) wrote in my email to him: I note that the "fine print" of the offer does not contain any exclusionary language restricting this to "new bookings" only, so, by the plain, unambiguous language of the email/terms of the offer, I am entitled to the doubled amount of OBC..."

I can also tell you that I clicked on the "Destinations" link at the bottom of Princess's email and it led me, through a series of multiple screens, to my cruise. Yes, if you click on the buttons higher up in the email, they will bring you only to certain cruises that Princess is calling "deals". But the offer does not appear to be exclusive to just those cruises, as other links on the same email will expand the field of cruises. (And, yes, you better believe I took screen shots of each screen as proof that the link got me to my cruise.)

As to what that CVP posted on her FB page, that may be what Princess intended and
what the promo code may show internally, but the email blasted to all of us does NOT say that anywhere. I would argue that Princess has to abide by the email that it sent to all of us.

It clearly states new bookings only in the post #7 right above the words A BIG in the picture

Just spent the good part of the afternoon talking to Princess and being referred to my TA.  Princess rep basically unaware of the promotion.  After over 2 hours with TA on hold was told that the cruise had to be re-booked and the new airfare would essentially wipe out the extra OBC.

I know that the promotion only applies to certain cruises, in my case two this fall and winter, but as you stated there was no mention of "new bookings only".  Would have been so easy simply adjust current booking to new credit value.  I note that only cruises of 14+ days get the $500 so there is really no benefit for shorter cruises.

Did you carefully read what I actually wrote in my post? I acknowledged Post #7, but noted that it was someone re-posting what a Princess CVP put on her own FB page which is language apparently contained within Princess's own internal materials but NOT the language contained within the email I received. The email I received from Princess did NOT have that language --- anywhere. Which is why I forwarded it in its entirely as an attachment to the email I sent to my CVP,

The offer doubles whatever military benefit you would otherwise get for that cruise, no matter the length of the cruise. So, for example, if you're on a 7 day cruise, the $100 OBC would be doubled to $200. There's a box in the email which sets forth all the amounts.

Also, the email does not say that it applies only to certain cruises. Some people are inferring it, but it does not actually say that. As I stated in an earlier post, I was able to pull up my cruise from one of the links on the bottom of the page, but not from the link specifically labeled as "deals".

So its for a rebook not a refare? At least CVPs can lift & shift everything keeping the same room / ezair ..... now it just depends if the fare stayed the same

The Code cited on my email is RF3MD053

I have received the same e-mail as tothemall&beyond, I agree that there are no limits except that the offer expires on 22 July2024. OBMC rates shown in box at bottom of offer says 6 Days or less = $100,   7 to 13 days = $200 and 14 days or longer = $500.

The campaign code is the same, RF3MD053 and the promo code is MM5

Also it does NOT SAY "New Bookings only" so I believe it would work for rebookings also>

I have sent an e-mail to my TA asking her how to take advantage of this offer.

This was the fine print on the bottom of the offer to double the MOBC.

That is a mail/marketing campaign code.  All Booking Promo Codes for PCL are three alphanumerics.  The correct info is below.

This post correctly reports the Promo Code as MM5.

Please let us know where you get with this.  I also wrote my cvp yesterday asking if we could use it on any of our existing bookings since the email doesn't specify new bookings only, and received the reply that no, it is for new bookings and only certain sailings.  So I'd love to know if you get a different response.  Thanks.

Yeah, I noted that and figured they may try to use it as an out for their poorly drafted, and very misleading email.
