Interesting observation for WC cruisers....the ship is definitely not sold out.

Could not find anything at all at JS and above...but wow....the inside, outside, and even a whole lot of balcony cabins are still up for grabs.   😮

Not surprised.

Did you book a cabin for Orville?  😉

Not surprised, it's a lot of $$$ and a lot of time to be on a Cruise Ship and away from home.

Where do you find inventory for the full World Cruise? For shorter parts I find cabins but those voyages in North Europe are ridiculous expensive. More than 7.000 Euro for 8 days in a standard balcony cabin.

Can't reveal the actual location...due to CC regulations...but the website mentions a "sea" in it.  😉

That’s interesting.  I thought I had read, some time ago, that there was nothing but interiors and a few OV remaining available for the full sailing.  Maybe I’m misremembering.

The mini segments have increased in cost since they were first released.  A balcony cabin on my segment is over £10,800 now (for two without gratuities).

When the mini segments first came out, most just had inside and OV, don't know about the quarter segments or full world cruise.   Ours had nothing above OV , but now they are selling balconies on the minis though not many left and no suites

How long is that for?

IMO a balcony on this ship is not worth that kind of money wherever it's going.

As someone who is on the full world cruise, I do hope that the ship isn't sold out at any point. Less crowds sounds good to me!  🙂

I just hope they are done scraping and painting before you board. They were still working long after the sun went down today.

Go to the RCI website.  Do a dummy booking for each of the 17 segments.  Starting with the first 3...which is our "first quarter"...you will see a lot of balcony cabins available.

I am currently trying to change cabins from half way down one aft hallway to a cabin on "the hump" which will be less up and down during rough seas around the horn.

It is all according to what you consider worth it.   Sometimes the experience....is in the "eye of the beholder".

I thought you didn't like those hump cabins because of the smoke coming out of the casino? up through the centrum?

I was thinking about it...but we are only on half the WC...first quarter and last quarter.  And I would need help trying to post pictures.  Orville is top notch at it.  🙂

Will be good to see John and Laura again.  He has mentioned helping me with the pictures before

That would be fantastic if you did one. I am certain he will provide all the help you need.

@orville99  I just came upon this in the last hour have almost caught up. Really enjoying it. Thanks for sharing your journey. P.S.  love that you follow your DW rules. I.e not posting certain things.

Given that the ship is currently not remotely “ready for prime time”, we will be quite content debarking after our 28 day adventure.😇

Understand but have enjoyed your pics/posts and would have Loved to have you do it for next 9 months

Just came back to the cabin to find this note, perhaps another update for the world cruise?

That is kind of a broad range in time. I'm not quite sure how you could pick one that is more suitable. At least repairmen give you a 2- or 4-hour window. 😄

16 nights, so £337 pppn, standard balcony. BCN to SOU segment, there's some nice ports not normally available in their standard med cruise. There's only a handful of balconies left now, hence the high cost.

We were on her for 12 nights last autumn so we know what we're in for. On Med cruises it's all about the ports. Think there's only three sea days.

It was a LOT cheaper when we booked

I assume the prices would be different for each segment, depending on the length of that segment and the itinerary? We’re on 2 segments in a spacious balcony on deck 9 and both together don’t add up to that amount
