I couldn't find this on the Princess site.

With the plus package, can I get beer in a can or is it from the fountain?

Thanks

In 2 Princess cruises, I have not encountered draft beer.  Anything I ordered came in a can or bottle.

I have had Draught beer on both of my Sky Princess cruises.

Do you remember what brand? I haven't seen draught beer on Princess for a long time but I much prefer draught if it's decent. I seem to recall that they had Heineken once but I hate that stuff.

Unfortunately, I think it was Heineken, but they also had Stella as far as I can recall.

Conflicting reports about the availability of draft beer on the ships is likely because it's only available at one or two bars on the whole ship. Typically it's a bar near a pool.

As to the types of beer on tap, it varies. I've partaken of Heineken and Newcastle but not on the same cruise. I've also had an excellent Australian beer (can't remember the name - something to do with horses though) on an Australian cruise.

These are the only choices I've seen on tap.

These are the only choices I've seen on board. Hoping for better selection on Sydney cruise.

Bottles or cans no draft beer I imagine the kegs would be an issue on board.

Don't see why they should. They have keg beer on P&O.

I visit every bar on day one and look for the drinks I like. I know the lay of the land … well, the sea.

On the sky there was a keg beer at the bar in front of princess live can't remember the name it was not a domestic and not Heineken , but I have also seen Heineken draft elsewhere on board just don't remember where since I prefer ultra or stella. Which is only in cans.

Newcastle on tap

Back in 2017 my wife was drinking Newcastle on tap on Emerald Princess. Haven't really paid attention on our cruises since the restart.

From a food service standpoint, bottles and cans make more sense, especially with OceanNow. Order a beer and the server doesn’t have to go to a bar to get it, or involve another employee. Any server could go to a fridge and grab the right beer to bring to you. (And yes, I will definitely use OceanNow to have a beer bottle float across the ship to my location.)

Thanks, all.

Because I have the Plus package and I don't drink much, I was thinking of getting a couple of cans of beer a day for drinking at home. after the cruise.

My plus package is on top of a casino offer.  According to my computations, the total coast is only about $100 more than the fare plus tips plus Wi Fi.  That additional cost was before Princess decided to charge for Alfredo's and increase Wi Fi prices.
