  1. Your doctor can give you a COR but in order to use it you have to have proctored PCR or Antigen test dated and timed showing when you first tested positive. This is a requirement of Celebrity and was also a requirement of the U.S. when testing was required. In our case after testing positive using the home test we used one of the eMed ones solely to document our status. That date is also used to match the COR being issued between 11 and 90 days from first tested.
  2. ahhhh... agree with Bistro Mezzaluna we had dinner there recently and loved it.
  3. Looking forward to following along. Hope you have a wonderful time.
  4. You can talk to the Restaurant Manager in advance and the wait staff will also ask at the beginning before taking orders.
  5. It's crazy that they no longer list it on Celebrity but recently all cruises 10 nights or longer have been 3. Officially they only say - All cruises that are 7 nights or longer will feature two Evening Chic nights. Any cruise 6-nights or shorter will feature one Evening Chic night. This would imply that if a 6 night or less 1 chic night.
  6. Yes - usually available in cruise planner. On our upcoming Summit B3B 8/7, 8/19 and 8/31 the first night at Tuscan has been sold out for over 3 months. Book early and cancel if you wish but at least Price for first night on these cruises are listed at 43.48
  7. Thanks Linda. Last couple times when had free dining we didn't use it due to the disappointing service and food. While on Silhouette one evening we gave it a try again and it was amazing. Service was over the top and after our 3rd dinner we finally got our waiter to cut down the portion size. We've been to Le Petit Chef a couple times and while it's interesting we pretty much now just give it a miss. I'm pretty happy with the food in Luminae and Blu. I've finally compiled a data base of their deserts - Description vs with what it really looks like. I'm sure you know what I mean --- Cheese cake that comes out as 3 balls on a plate....hmmm..
  8. Yea... Doctor thinks it was a breakthrough or re-emergent ---pretty much asymptomatic except a bad headache. Also the positive line was just a slight pink instead of a really solid red like the control. We tested negative again after just 3 days. I've been burning through those free government test kits, but used an eMed one for the proctored positive for a COR. We had our 4th booster after we were negative again. We were holding off until 2 weeks prior to our next cruise. I tell you this new omicron is hitting everyone we know.
  9. I would pick the earliest time available. You can always check in late but may not be able to checkin early.
  10. They generally update it about 1-2 cruies out the others will sa getting ship shape or are just stock copies. I usually go to the ship and look for the same itinerary and then look. Was just checking and our 8/7 and 8/19 are now active and appear to be relatively reliable as it is showing Chic Nights. 8/31 is only showing the musical entertainment but no indication of when chic nights are. As you get closer to sail date they become pretty solid.
  11. Been quietly reading the next installment of Charla and Jeromy's Next Adventure. Enjoying it immensely. We board Summit in 11 days and just got a call from Shore-side Concierge. It has suddenly clicked in how quickly it is coming up. I was happy to read of your dinner at Tuscan they have been hit or miss on different ships- without a Murano doesn't leave a lot of choices.
  12. Should be plenty of time - I've made an 11:00 flight before and was waiting at the gate about an hour before the flight. It will help if you have PRE to speed through security.
  13. Correct you can't track. Best way to look at it is a Silent Auction. You bid and you will later find out if you won or lost. You have no visibility of what others have bid. You can however click the link on the original confirmation and can see if bids a Pending, cancelled or Won. The first communication will be a charge to your credit card followed by an email that you won. If you were not selected you will get a rejection at 48 hours before checkin.
  14. After having tested positive it is possible to test positive for up to 3 months (the consensus is the viral load is so low that you are not contagious) and sometimes while you may test negative on an Antigen you could test positive on a PCR or even occasionally with certain antigen tests. For us it will just be an insurance policy.
  15. On July 1 the changed the requirements to also allow a positive Antgen or PCR Also have been in contact with Celebrity and told that we would also have to be tested on the B2B but if we were to Test Positive the COR wold cover us.
  16. Awhile back and maybe even today that when you chose the NRD - Non-Refundable Deposit you didn't get any perks and then they sold the Elevate to add the perks. While a NRD is non-refundable it can be moved to a new cruise or refunded if cancelled prior to final payment for a administrative fee of $200. If booked before a certain date that qualified for cancel for any reason up until 48 hours it is fully refundable.
  17. I haven't yet but will be getting my COR in on July 30 for an Aug 7 cruise. I think we should be ok either way as we are both now testing negative. Getting one just as a precaution. I've so far only read one person who has boarded using one and she said it was just like presenting a Negative Test. They just shoot a picture of it like they do with a negative test.
  18. I often forget it but is just the amount of snack to take the edge off. If you need a sugar hit al Bacio also have some tasty deserts available all afternoon and evening. My favorite are these little Lemon Tarts (about the size of quarter)
  19. I did much the same. I also had one that said my birth date was incorrect. hmmm...I think I know my birth date.
  20. No restriction. At least on our tour when you checkin at your meeting at the hotel they will give you two different color luggage tags. One color tags stay on the bus for the entire journey and the other color is delivered to your room each evening. Most only have one bag for delivery to their room each evening. On our trip while we took a train trip the bus met us on the other end of the train journey.
  21. Basically how it works is that when you log on it will show you the new messages that you are watching or commenting on in the past 24-48 hours. If you click on it it will show you all the messages but will not clear unless you clear cache of the browser. After you click on it the number of new notifications will disappear but the notifications will stay. I basically just ignore it but if you want it limit them --- Click on the Notification Icon and then the Notification Setting. Then select each type and if you don't want notification uncheck everything under that category Notification List. Most alerts will be under Mention & My Content.
  22. You may have been just a touch early. All the ships i've been on recently they have Afternoon "Tea" at 3:30 or 4:00 - Finger Sandwiches, mini quiche, scones and jams and sweets. We've found it perfect when returning from a late excursion. I think they list it in the paper daily planner but can' find it in the app
  23. I've had that happen before and could only be fixed be Agent or Celebrity.
  24. Take a look on the App -- Choose Ship and a current sailing with same number of nights Just looked at Equinox and only one on day 3. If you go to Daily Planner click each day and will either say Chic night or if you go to 5PM it will indicate
