  1. Good morning! We had a wonderful dining experience last night. Yes the wine selections on yesterday’s menu I posted was a typo. Today we are in St Lucia and tonight is White Night. Whether permitting tables are set around the pool, majority of folks dress in white. Big BBQ and feast served by officers then band, dancers singers perform and a lot of dancing among guest. A bunch of mature guest acting like teenagers! When I think of peculiar people Red Neck Bob comes to mind!😁 Enjoying a cafe latte and breakfast will soon arrive. May post some food porn pics later. Thanks for the reports
  2. We’ll soon find out. Traditionally at these type dinners one can usually ask for a white or red. Some folks do not do well on red wine. Plus we agree with you. Feel it’s a misprint.
  3. We still love our Holland America but trying something new has been refreshing. This meal isn’t something you do every week as it’s $95.00 per person!
  4. They have a different theme every day. Tonight we are going to Chefs Table where the theme is Stateside Menu. They also have French, Italian theme evenings. This is extra fee and I believe around 14 folks maximum.
  5. Good morning! We have just arrived Charlestown, Nevis which will be a tender port. We enjoyed our stay on board yesterday in St Thomas. We just may do the same today. Enjoyed a nice dinner in MDR last night followed by a show in Cabaret Lounge. MDR is open seating of which we have never had to wait and always get a table for two at our adopted waiter’s service area. The Wi Fi still amazes me and the price of $71.00 for entire cruise was even better. Per request from Redneck Bob here is a sample of last nights menu. Roy thanks for your loyal volunteerism and triple duty. Thanks to our police. Have a great day. Bruce
  6. We are on board and having a wonderful cruise.
  7. Agree. He is an excellent performer.
  8. It was a pretty sail into St Thomas this morning and as we arrived those of us enjoying breakfast on the aft terrace were treated to a vivid rainbow. Last night we enjoyed cocktails in Atlas Bar followed by dinner in Prime C. Wonderful service and the chauteaubriand was perfect. Chef’s special dessert of rum raisin soufflé was delicious. After dinner we enjoyed the ships band playing big band popular tunes followed by our CD Matt who put on a great show. Met a couple who were on the inaugural cruise. They showed pictures of what it was like! Happy to say I haven’t seen anything that even resembles those pictures. They have done an excellent job of bringing Onward up to standard. We are enjoying our day be the pool. Life is good on the beautiful Onward.
  9. Good morning. Another pretty day and Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas coming into view. We dined in Prime C last night and enjoyed Chateaubriand for two. We then went to the Cabaret Lounge and enjoyed our CD Matt put on a great show. Along with the ships band which includes great sax and trumpet players. As I write all of us having breakfast outdoors aft are being treated to a vibrant rainbow. Today we may get off and walk around but may just enjoy the less used pool. Tonight we return to MDR. So when I entered Windows Cafe this morning I was looking around the muffins and asked the gal working that station “got any donuts?” No donuts so I went to table to join Sue and was soon approached by a supervisor apologizing for not having donuts! Tomorrow there will be donuts! Spoiled rotten!😁 Thanks for the reports and postings.
  10. Yes, sparkling jacket and shoes and a diamond ring that Liberace gave him. I Sue hope Hal gets the Star Link Wi Fi they just had installed on Onward. Fastest I have ever experienced on a ship. Crew members so excited. “It’s so fast!” I have been even watching my news apps video streams. Best part was $71.00 for entire cruise!
  11. I would go as far to say none of the shops on any cruise is worth my time or money. That’s my opinion but we are not shoppers. Now I will make one comment about Onward; this Star Link Wi Fi is the fastest internet I have ever experienced at sea, which should make on-line shopping a breeze!😁
  12. Another beautiful sea day as we sail past Haiti on our Starboard side. We enjoyed yesterday’s sea day with some sunning, attended some guest lectures, cocktails in Atlas Bar followed by a very nice dining experience in Aqualina. After dinner we went to Cabaret Lounge and enjoyed our guest pianist. Older gentlemen who used to open for Liberace in Las Vegas. Fantastic pianist and he had the place rocking especially with his version of Jerry Lee Lewis Great Balls Of Fire. Today a little more sunning, reading and have plans to attend guest lectures. Ship is featuring a large brunch extravaganza but we just savored a lighter breakfast enjoyed outdoors at Windows. Tonight we will dine at Prime C and attend our CD’s Matt’s show in Cabaret Lounge. We are thoroughly enjoying our second Azamara experience and looking forward to more. We feel our Continental Suite 8033 will definitely meet our needs for the 2024 World Cruise. Happy and very satisfied cruisers here. Bruce & Sue
  13. Good Morning! It’s another beautiful morning and another day at sea. Enjoying a Latte and the ships health smoothie of the day. We just lazed around yesterday enjoying a glorious sea day. Attended a couple of lectures, enjoyed a concert by pool. Last evening we had a wonderful meal in Aqualina one of the ship’s specialty venues. We followed dinner by watching our guest pianist who used to open for Liberace in Las Vegas. He was fantastic. They have a huge brunch spread this morning but we are having a lighter breakfast at Sunset Cafe. Today we will attend another guest lecture, get some sun and dine at Prime C the ships other speciality restaurant. No added cost for us in a suite. Tonight our Cruise Director will perform in Cabaret Lounge. All the CD’s have impressive theatrical backgrounds and are so talented. So it’s another day so relaxing I have to check my pulse now and then. Thanks Roy and special thoughts and prayers for Jacqui that she is being well taken care of. Bruce

  16. We did announce on Roll Call the previous cruise time and venue location. No problem as we met some nice people and even a couple that will be joining us on World Cruise. Life is good on Onward and yes elevators look like they have been freshly repainted and rails. Progress in motion. We are happy cruisers.
  17. Oh my! Sorry to hear this and Susan and I will be praying for you and that the sepsis responds to treatment and the surgeon can mend your fracture properly. Do pray the local Hal reps are helping you. You have been through enough. Bruce
  18. It’s been a pretty sea day from the start. Lite choppy seas and a smooth ride on the Onward. Last night’s entertainment review showed we indeed have some talented entertainers on-board. We also have a couple of guest lecturers, water color artist teacher and classes along with a Bridge (card) instructor. A pianist guest entertainer tonight and a mentalist later on cruise. Last night our CD stated we have 633 guest aboard and it does feel a little busier than our cruise on Quest last March. Over thirty folks had signed up for M&G and four of us couples showed up. No staff from Onward. Just feel this is a bad time and maybe should be held on first sea day. Little slow in MDR last night which seems a norm. Quite a few guest appear to be first time cruisers. Quite a few were denied entry into main dining room Discovery last night and told they could not eat there while wearing shorts. One tip to speed up dining is to kind of know what you want before you go. Some tables it appeared waiter took orders from undecided guest for ten minutes or so. Ship looks great, staff seems eager to please and this new Star Link internet is fastest I have ever experienced. Bottom line is we are having a great time and life is good aboard Azamara Onward. Bruce
  19. Currently on Onward in CC suite 8033 no noise and I might add a very quiet cabin with no major creaking type noises. Maybe after White Party or end of pool day tidying up maybe an occasional noise from above. No problem.
