Princess can fill up the buses with people wishing to take an excursion who won't run the risk of missing the second one and then seeking a refund. They make money by having full buses of paying customers.
Tough choices sometimes; you'll enjoy yourself!
You wouldn't normally be told that by Celebrity as it is generally determined by the harbour master, not the cruise line. In any event, here isninfo...
Are on board charges in euros? If so, it is not a surprise that your credit card company charges for foreign currency transactions; either through a fee or lumped in with the exchange rate. There are cards available that don't do this, but you're going to have to search them out and they'll likely charge you an annual fee far in excess of the fees you'll have to cough up on your cruise.
Well, since there doesn't appear to be a hard boundary on the amount of speculation permitted on this, I'd say the number of employees in the tip pool is more likely 1,000, not 500.
Good luck trying ro fill in the form for a Maritime (cruise ship) arrival; it will only work for arrival by air. We'll see what happens pre-arrival Cartagena and at the port. Wouldn't surprise me if the authorities don't bother with the Canadians onboard just to avoid the hassle on their part.
The electronic immigration form is available but can only be filled in for those arriving by air. We're doing a Panama Canal transit ove Xmas/New Years and will be visiting Cartagena.... my understanding is there will be a special line, upon entry, for Canadians to pay the fee.
What sort of time frame are you looking at? Price of gas is generally lower than it was two years ago. At my local grocery store, the price of bananas hasn't changed in at least three years; a real price drop when factoring in inflation.
Kind of a low bar for happiness. Why not go to five bucks here and there and reach out for a state of personal nirvana?
I recognize this may be subject to diminishing returns....
There you go; the capacity to spend money (and I am implying that they have plenty of money to spend) is not a good way to assess the character of people.
There you go! Looks like it's a taxi.... now it's more about how much you pay and the mechanism. It is very easy to DIY at YUL but if HAL is looking for less than 60 CAD (say 45 USD), I'd take that.
