  1. I'd say 'someone else' was mistaken, particularly if SE meant the IP between Vancouver Island and mainland BC.
  2. And, of course, you don't ever get a credit card bill with pending charges.
  3. See post #15 on this recent thread and go from there... https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/2912266-gratuity-breakdown/#:~:text=100% of your gratuities are, enhance your overall cruise experience.
  4. Not exactly. My original error was thinking that you you were of the opinion that a US citizen could fly back to the US without a passport. Of course, that is not what you said. My mistake!
  5. Not if they need to do it on an airplane.
  6. I usually think of a budget as an estimate of income and expenditure for future planning. Keeping track of past expenses is more of an accounting that is very useful for budget forecasting.
  7. For further information....
  8. Not unless you plan on taking a hike in the back woods.
  9. First thing about this.... check to see meaning of 'inimical'.
  10. Same day travel from California to Quebec City? Are you sure that your flight is not scheduled for October 1.... out of LAX or a red-eye out of SNA?
  11. Is this a B2B you're planning and need a round trip fare to YQB? Also - September 2024? A long ways off!
  12. Yes.... also 'Crew Appreciation' (Princess terminology).
  13. That's too optimistic a schedule for clearing C&I in Montreal, then getting the shuttle to Via Rail Dorval. Is there not an Air Canada itinerary available CVG - YYZ - YQB that would fit? The connection through Toronto is pretty quick and painless with no need to touch luggage or leave the secure zone.
  14. Or... log in to Princess, go to Booked Guests then Access Cruise Personalizer. Take your choice...
  15. I have my LottoMax with Encore. Got big plans for Thursday morning.
  16. So, there you go. In the last two months I've done CBP pre-clearance in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto airports and had nary a problem.
  17. I like to think that people mis-interpret the question(s). They may believe their boarding times are GMT.
  18. Hahaha.... Canada dictating to US about pre-clearance in certain ports because of some inconvenienced cruise passengers?
  19. If you think you'll be stopping for lunch and a beer and maybe a shirt, you'll be fine with a credit card. Otherwise, Canadian currency.
