They usually aren’t, but I think they have done something where Club Royale members have been able to join in on an already booked sailing of theirs. That was 2015 or 2016, so I don’t know whether it’s still true today.

Interesting, thanks!  Not sure I'd enter anyway, with my luck on slots, but we'll see what happens.

I did have one interesting bit of second-place luck from a slot tournament. It was a shorter cruise, and they were doing their win-a-cruise slot tournaments as usual. Being a shorter cruise, though, it was much more likely that they wouldn't get enough entrants during the sailing to qualify to give away a cruise. In that case, there would be cash prizes for first, second, and third place.

I ended up getting second place after the two rounds of the tournament and won a few hundred dollars. If there had been enough entrants, I wouldn't have won anything at all since there are no prizes after the cruise prize.

Casino Royal call center. Is it only Manila now ? For past several months day or night. Every time I call I get Manila. In years past I used to get Miami, Oregon, Guatemala, and  Jamaica. I live in Texas. Are they sending call according from where you call ?

Question for solo cruisers.  My sister is masters level and recently booked two cabins — one for 2 family members and a solo for herself.  The price for both cabins is the same.  She questioned why she did not get the 150% rate for her cabin (she is DP over 340 points) and was told if getting a casino rate she could not use her solo supplement.  Anyone else have experience with this?  Thanks.

Called in to Casino Royale call center about 10 A.M. today. I got Manila again. Sure makes me wonder if ALL USA has been closed down ?

My last to Casino Royale was December and I had one of my favorite reps from Oregon.   I usually call in the morning too.

I have had some casino reps tell me I cannot use my diamond discounts with casino bookings but then others that have.     I would suggest she call back and ask a different rep.  One thing great about calling the casino number is there is hardly ever a long wait to get a person.

Back before covid, and even into it. I would call in the evening to make sure I would get Oregon center. Now I never get them. I have tried both CR's numbers. Always get Manila going back to at least August. No matter morning or early evening.

Win/}Loss statements for 2022

Thought I would check here rather than on main board and get specifics rather than (the casino is too Smokey or I don’t gamble but” replies 😉

We emailed 2 weeks ago our notarized Win/loss request forms , have not gotten back anything from CR

No bounce back on casinocredit@rccl.com email so they went through OK

Yesterday we decided to FAX to see if any humans are dealing with this legal document process required for filing our Taxes.

Fax number confirmed as good and documents went through, we have receipt

Has anyone been successful in requesting and receiving back a win loss statement for 2022 play? and if yes, which route did you take

Thanks in advance

Happy Days!

I emailed them the request on 1/13 and got the statement on 1/31.  Hope this helps!

The OFFERS sure have taken a nose dive. The last 3-4 have been only $100-$300 off. We are finally back to cruising. After 17 cancels and rebooks. Sailed on Liberty her last cruise from Galveston.

Could it be from lack of cruising and gambling? I'm still getting offers (free interior or balcony) with 7 or 8 available to book. Our last cruise was in August, but we cruised 5 times last year and canceled 2 for family reasons. I'm wondering if accumulated dollars spent per year has something to do with offers. I think with so many new ships coming into service and a recession in the cards, offers will still continue for gamblers.

I am sure that is part of it Vera. We were getting decent offers right on up until they lifted the testing.

Now for Diamond lounge access. Can a Diamond level bring in a guest ?

No, only diamond members and above are allowed in the lounge. The Concierge talks with us at least once every cruise when we feel he's checking us out. Last year they even started taking our sea pass card to mark the number of drinks we get in the lounge. It could be different on different ships. Are you Prime? The free drinks in the Casino are a great benefit.

Yes my wife and I are Prime. Sometimes I have seen guests brought in.

No.  The lounges are overcrowded as it is.  With the drink vouchers there really isn't a need to go "hang out" or even "drink" in the lounge.  If you need to see the concierge then go in most definitely but no need to take a guest with you.
