How many days do you "rock" after your cruise?

Recommended Posts

Used to take a week or so. Sadly, it does not happen anymore except after transatlantic cruises.

Interesting, doesn't happen to me anymore either. Maybe a TA is the answer! Used to take me several days at least.

I usually am still swaying for a few days but worse was two weeks. Depends on the time of year and if it is allergy season. It also seems to make a difference whether I had to fly to the port or was able to drive. An antihistamine makes a difference for me.

I love the post-cruise sway. I'm usually good after a few days, but I havent been on anything longer than 7 nighters in a long time. If Bob is still swaying after a TA, I can't wait to see what happens to me after my first on Jewel next year!

Only happened to me after our first cruise - mostly when my eyes were closed (like in the shower). My husband still gets it if the cruise was particularly rocky - it will last up to a week. He does have ear problems.

I've never been sea sick, but I do suffer from vertigo. I find when I come home that swaying feeling can last for 2-3 weeks, even a months sometimes. It doesn't really bother me too much except when I'm sitting still (as someone called it stillness sickness). I figure it's a pretty minor problem to be able to cruise.
