I've never seen a $2 bill in 30 visits to the US.

That's because the nation's 2.00 bills are all stored in the bottom drawer of my jewelry cabinet! ;)

Ahh..sitting on the wealth of the world. LOL!! Not!!! :D

Graham, I love your pics of you and your lovely wife! I was wondering about the background in the first one in front of the window; is that a waterfall and is that your home? It looks like a wonderful place!

DH and I also enjoy meeting people (and the freebies) in the DL, tip $1 per drink, and sometimes have no problem dropping $10 in there. We tend to stay longer if we are having a good time, which we usually do! We are a friendly and social couple, who enjoy meeting others. Maybe Rory keeps more to himself? My lemon drops and his Hennessy usually go down pretty easy!! Cheers to all!!

And I look forward to enjoying your company soon also! :D:cool:

If we ever met you and Bucky in Orlando we would take you to Longhorns for a meal in exchange for a couple of those $2 bills.

LOL!! Gladly. I still don't know why I am hanging on to them.

Maybe it's just memories of my sweet father in law that passed on years ago...he was the one that sent them to me for every birthday, Christmas, etc.

I would definitely keep them for sentimental sake.

We would still have the meal but i would be curious to actually see one.

I like the massive Porterhouse steak in there.

I used to love a big Porterhouse but in recent year a bone in ribeye for me.

If your in Orlando, you should try the old Charlie’s Steakhouse on OBT. They opened a new one on International Drive But just not the same. Berns in Tampa is one of the most highly rated Steakhouse’s in Florida.

Longhorns is like Outback or Texas Roadhouse, a chain franchise. We think longhorns adds too much salt.

My late mam bought me my current car which is almost 8 years old and the end of the number plate is xvm.

My mams name was Vera Marshall.

For 30 years before that i had company cars and that was the first car for a very long time that was mine.

The one on highway 192 was near to a hotel we stayed at.

The last 3 visits we have stayed at the BuenaVistaPalace at Lake Buenavista and used Longhorns near the premium outlet.

Just how out of my posting did you get I was concerned. I could care less how many drinks someone has. Except in cases that it was an inclusive cruise (drinks included), it does seem odd that someone would sit in one place, the DL, for the length of time to consume 5/5 drinks.

So many other things to do on a cruise but we all know there are some who take a seat in the DL for the entire cocktail hours. Which is their thing, not mine, and nothing wrong with it.

But the story does change often...

Hopefully we will meet you in the CL/DL on a future cruise and I will be happy to make a gift of a couple to you! :)

Otherwise they grow too much moss on themselves sitting alone in that drawer anyway. ;)

In my teens i could drink a pint of Guinness in 2 seconds but it was only priced at the US equivalent of a Dime.

Now it is priced around $6 a pint it takes me 2 hours to drink a pint.
