Hope Spins is recovering and able to be on top of your challenging "re-build". Not fun!! Good luck! THANKS! Enjoy! Terry in Ohio

Rare mysty Posted October 6, 2020 #6609 Share Posted October 6, 2020 (edited) You are on a roll Spins! 🤣 And Chas...I was torn between "like" and "ha ha". The "ha ha" won because laughs are needed! 😄 Edited October 6, 2020 by mysty
Rare spinnaker2 Posted October 6, 2020 #6610 Share Posted October 6, 2020 The sound of the giant fans and dehumidifying machines is deafening! We are losing what remains of our minds! Diversionary tactics necessary. 😄

lincslady Posted October 6, 2020 #6612 Share Posted October 6, 2020 Some great funnies today - and perhaps the most apposite is Terry's from Lily Tomlin; it would be great to die laughing, if that is what awaits us in the near future. This so and so virus has at least dredged up some great new jokes. And shows the human spirit keeps on carrying on. Lola

At first I thought, why is etual324 cheering so loudly, then I remembered it's Tuesday and there is no NY Giants football today. 😉

Rare jpalbny Posted October 6, 2020 #6617 Share Posted October 6, 2020 (edited) Hi Coolers! Spins, hope your repair work goes smoothly. A quick glimpse of the Falls. As spectacular as I remember from 30 years ago. Canada seemed so close. But out of reach. It is beautiful here. QueSeraSera Posted October 6, 2020 #6619 Share Posted October 6, 2020 Mysty - so its not just me doing this? I'm remembering mistakes & regretting them from 15 years ago, or even longer, after waking up at 3 AM! Then thinking a post or comment I made 5 hours ago was so terrible. To put a stop to this thinking, I try to think about maybe getting a chocolate donut in the morning and even that doesn't allow me to drift off to blissful sleep. Going to try melatonin... The real cure would be to be on the sea
nowornever Posted October 7, 2020 #6620 Share Posted October 7, 2020 QSS, your post reminded me of my all time favorite NY'er cartoon from years ago which I copied & pasted to save forever. 2

englishusa Posted October 7, 2020 #6624 Share Posted October 7, 2020 All that talk about liver and onions! As an Englishman I frequently have calves liver with onions, and bacon ! I soak the liver in milk for a couple of hours prior to flour coating. It definitely tenderises it! And add a raw egg to the mashed spuds.
Rare Lois R Posted October 7, 2020 #6625 Share Posted October 7, 2020 I remember my mom making liver and onions growing up. I like it but don't know too many other people who do. I also really like chicken livers and make them with mushrooms and onions too......🙂
