Maybe theres someone out there has dealt with this and can answer my question. Me and my husband are sailing on Symphony OS on March 28. In the Royal up email I got I have the option to bid on a 2 bedroom Grand suite. If I bid high and win the bid, will I be able to add people for the second bedroom as of right now its only 2 of us on the reservation? If yes, how their rate will be calculated? Currently they are no any 2 bedroom suites available.

I say call and ask, that’s the best answer.

I'm surprised you've already heard back.... I'm on the cruise before you that leaves March 22...... I haven't heard anything. I know the week I'm going is absolutely sold out.... they said Max capacity ..... so I'm sure there aren't very many rooms unoccupied.

Do you know if your cruise is sold out as well? I know these 2 weeks are heavy "spring break" weeks here in the midwest  where I'm from

It is not sold out but only 2 suites are showing as being left, there are plenty of balconies available.
I was surprised as well.

It depends on lifeboat capacity. Right now my sailing has no options to add more then 2 to a room.

Darn.  I'm on Anthem in a JS in three weeks, and haven't heard anything.  The cruise doesn't show up on any of the cruise booking sites anymore, so I'm guessing it might be sold out.   But I'm also solo (about to be Diamond Plus), which may make a difference in how they consider or weigh bids.   I always put in  mid-range fair" Royal-Up bids, but none of them have ever been accepted by RCL.  I keep trying  LOL.  Anyway...congratulations Casino Comp Chick!!

Thank you very much 😃

Good to know, thank you!

Quick question, I can’t really tell from the you tube videos, does the master bedroom have a door or is is open/shower curtain type thing?

Thanks in advance.

Master bathroom has a glass enclosed walk in shower & a jacuzzi tub. Master bathroom has double sinks, very spacious, lots of storage, drawers, etc.

The whole suite has so many drawers, etc. 1 large closet in main room & 2 closets either side of bed. As you enter the stateroom there is another smaller bathroom. My husband basically claimed that, except to shower, & I had the master bathroom to my self. 🙂 it was a truly lovely suite. Nice large deck which we couldn't use as much as we were in Canada/NE so a little chilly.

Would really be nice in Caribbean. Enjoy your suite.

Sorry, I should have been clearer, is there a door from the living room to the master bedroom? Thanks again!

I have seen multiple posts of that and yes the owners suite was not showing in inventory for well over a month before I received my upgrade.

I was told by a celebrity rep that some rooms are set aside for the bidding  program and not included in the inventory.  I believe it is another company that sponsors these programs and not the cruise line

No there is not a door.  Don't remember for sure but there may be a curtain to separate it  from  the rest of the suite.

It is very clear in the terms and conditions of the Royal Up program that no additional guests can be added to the reservation regardless of the room capacity. In addition to that I have not read one post where anyone has successfully  done this.

Thank you for the reply. I must've missed that info.

Has anyone used RoyalUp with an interline rate? I keep getting an error when I try, but I'm still a little far out.

Replying to myself, for other people's reference. RoyalUp opened for me yesterday and I was able to make a bid even though I am booked interline. The interline was booked directly with Royal and not a TA, so YMMV if you booked with a TA.

Good, now if I win my bid on the Vista suite I won't feel bad not inviting my mom/inlaws. 4 rooms for 3 people :).

I know why do I check , eh, no changes still waiting we cruise 2/13/20..... just can’t help myself, it is such a tease to even offer if they don’t reply... I have seen others posted they were denied the AM of. I think that’s horrible. Proof big buisness=ss does not give a sh - -  if it is stressful,  why did I think it would be otherwise.. can always be a optimist.. apparently  it gets me nowhere but frustrated
