Penguins and all wild life are fun to watch.

The video is adorable -- wonder why the front penguin had to poke a couple of other penguins as they wondered through?  Also -- do you think that was their baby who was staring up at them at the end?

Great pictures.

Yes, the penguins are adorable. Not sure why they are poking at one another - maybe the other penguins are too close and to protect themselves? We are not sure about the baby , but it could be theirs.

What a wonderful trip report!  We've done South America without Antarctica on Zaandam, so I'm reliving many wonderful memories (Torres del Paine!)  You've convinced me that we need to go back to make the full trip, including Antarctica.  Westerdam 2021 is looking might good!

Thank yooooouuuu, Scubacruiserx2!!

There is something about Penguins that just makes me smile and I love how you caption the pictures.  What a awesome day you have had.

Mary

Thanks Mary . We did have a great day and wished that we could have stayed longer for some fish and chips . We also would like to see the rockhoppers but we had to pick one or the other so we went to VP .

You're welcome . We did enjoy this trip and hope that you can make the Westerdam cruise as we did like going in November .

How can you help but not smile at penguins and especially baby chicks; that is a whole lot of chicks.  You are capturing such a beautiful part of the world.

They do make smile when we were there and now when we remember .

I have been following your great images as we are doing the around SA on the Volendam in January and these places look outstanding.  Please let me know what camera/lens you are using for these images.

After warming in the car we had a bite to eat before paying Nyree our fee in British Pounds . There are no ATMs on the island so we brought it with us . We decided to return more scenic route with another vehicle along for safety .

We requested a photo stop here and the ground was a bit soft

This is a good reason not to DIY  here looking for penguins

When the 2nd vehicle tried to pull the car out , he also became stuck .

We threw a line to them and Kurt pulled them right out together . Good job Kurt !

Another photo stop
