About to slip the lines and sail away from Casablanca and Africa, losing 2 hours tonight, but will be in Seville and Europe by tomorrow night.

Not sure what time we enter the river, but possibly after dark as we are expected to arrive at about 22:30.

Apparently we should enter the river mouth at around 16:30 and our berth has been relocated further away from the centre. Hope the weather stays good for the sail in.

I really cannot believe that they could make the same mistake after the debacle on the Wind last year!

SilverSpectre....how cool is that!  One of my favorite cities!!  Did you always know that they would sail up the river, since Cadiz is the only port listed for Seville? .... or is this a last minute decison by Captain depending on conditions.

We only found out once we joined the ship in Cape Town and I asked the Captain.

Just learned that the last night on this leg is now Formal, weird choice and so not good for the 60 or so guests who are already packed to leave in Lisbon!

That Sherry tasting looks like fun! We have been to Cadiz twice. Once we took the train to Seville; the other we got off in Jerez instead and toured the Riding School before going to a few tastings. Such fun! Enjoy!

Wow!  That’s the first time I’ve ever heard of that as I thought the last night was always casual.  Why the change?
