One special memory I will always have is my grandpa Wynd love for the Ohio State marching band. I can still see him sitting in his living room with the record player playing their music. He lived to be 100. When he was in his upper 90’s (98 or 99 or maybe 100🤔 ) a portion of the Ohio State Marching Band came to the retirement home to celebrate his birthday! Two of my mom’s brothers also lived to bee 100. The band also came and celebrated uncle bob’s 100th birthday. (I thought I posted this a couple hours ago but went to post again and it’s still here! Excuse me if it’s a second post.)
Rare A&L_Ont Posted September 18, 2021 #30479 Share Posted September 18, 2021 Lucy saying good bye as we head out to the arena. She must be starting to wonder if we are living at home. It’s the third time here this week for development ice. Tryouts for the hockey rep team start on Friday. Thankfully soccer just ended on Thursday, with a win. Baseball tryouts won’t start until hockey tryouts end. Meanwhile football tryouts are still ongoing. Is Owen enjoying high school, the answer is yes. Mom and dad, we just need a cruise for an escape.

Although the song is older than all of the players and probably all of the students, it gets them really pumped up. Very different from Enter Sandman, but I also really like the newer tradition at Iowa where they wave to kids in the nearby Children's Hospital at the end of the 1st quarter. We live now about 30 minutes from Hokies Stadium in Blacksburg, Va. , I have to get to a game soon. That video fired me up for Hokies Football!!

Laura's been making it in square pans ever since we became empty nesters. Same amount as the oblong, just two bakes. Or give one to neighbors 3

Rare bobmacliberty Posted September 19, 2021 #30497 Share Posted September 19, 2021 Today is our 28th anniversary. Celebrated with dinner at our club tonight. They gave us some champagne to start the night, some raspberry creme brûlée for dessert, and some caramel macarons to bring home. VERY good Wagyu beef tenderloin for our meal (sorry, no pics of the beef). Great view while eating. A very good way to start our cruise week. TOMORROW IS CRUISE DAY!

We for sure are looking for things to slow down a bit.
