Is the woman in the cranberry top your sister ? Also , that is a spacious ultra modern kitchen. It was, Judy. No, sadly, I'm an only child. Miriam (with the same hair cut, we're often mistaken as sisters) calls me her "honorary" sister. We're together from 7 grade (54 years). And I have a story about Miriam and I. When we first arrived in Israel, my parents were sent to a special adult school to learn Hebrew, and I was sent to another one, for my age. There were several classes of new immigrants, and I befriended some of the "older" ones. When it was time to move to a "regular" school, one of them told me: "I heard you're going to "X" high school. My cousin is also a pupil there, you should seek her out... I told him: "sure enough, first thing when I arrive at a new school, with hundreds of pupils, I'll go look for your cousin" 😕 The first day of the new high school arrives, I'm finally locating my class, enter, and there is one girl leaning on the window sill and giving me a curious look over. She says: "you must be the new immigrant allocated to our class".... I said "yes", and we started talking.... She was THE COUSIN !!! And the rest is history. Of course, we're friends also with the "original" cousin. Speaking of the modern kitchen. As I said before to Sue ( @CrzLvr2), Miriam likes to have people, and they moved to this new apartment no long ago, the biggest investment being this kitchen with a big table (which can be extended even more), to be able to entertain family and friends. Below it's a pic I've already posted, the kitchen from another view.. HB 13

Rare A&L_Ont Posted March 20, 2022 #51979 Share Posted March 20, 2022 We went to Sharon’s yesterday and had lunch and dinner there. Her comes the food porn. She had homemade hamburger and chicken soup. Along with scratch made buns. This is the burger soup. She also made veggie rolls.

That would be amazing even if they could win one more game and advance to the Elite 8 but I think their next game may just a little bit to much for them to handle. I think you will see the next team will be so much bigger and more physical then them and over power them. 3 hours ago, A&L_Ont said: Clearly, “the word” hasn’t reached Rural King. Some of it due to the fact that these charters focus on snorkeling and diving. The reefs are gorgeous. I’m sure some of the underwater shots where pre shot and then edited in but at least the producers are trying to have the series look different than your usual anchor drop and prop start. The photography and the scenery are probably the redeeming features of this program. I don’t care for reality TV . Is there talk of your second knee surgery ? Waiting for the Duke and Michigan State game to start which will be tense . I like coach K and want him to go out with a win however we have a history with MSU.
Rare A&L_Ont Posted March 20, 2022 #51982 Share Posted March 20, 2022 For dinner Sharon made pork roast. Ceaser salad, corn and crispy roasted potatoes accompanied it. Gravy too.😋 Dessert was apple pie (no raisins obviously) and brownies.

She read about them once but doesn’t have the recipe written down but this is the basic process. Cut the potatoes in half and parboil them until just tender. Then drain. The skin falls off them which is the plan. Then put them in the fridge to cool. When read to cook put on cookie sheet with cut side up. Brush with oil and favourite seasoning. Cook until headed through and brown approx 20/30 minutes. The outside is crispy and the inside is soft. Rare Momof3gurlz Posted March 20, 2022 #51987 Share Posted March 20, 2022 Okay, I wouldn’t dare ask this question anywhere but here. I’m starting to think about packing for our upcoming cruise and any shopping I might “need” to do. I honestly cannot remember - are men are allowed to wear dress shorts & a collared shirt in the dining room for dinner?

Rare bobmacliberty Posted March 20, 2022 #51991 Share Posted March 20, 2022 We just dropped Andie and Kaleb at the airport for their trip back to Cincinnati. It was a rough week. Andie's flu symptoms got worse on Thursday and we took her to urgent care. She tested positive for Influenza A, which is certainly what Micheline and I also had. Fortunately, the Tamiflu that they prescribed worked well for Andie. Micheline and I made it through OK with DayQuil/NyQuil. Kaleb somehow never managed to get sick. I felt bad for both of them as it put a serious damper on their vacation week and their engagement celebration. Between not feeling good and not wanting to infect others, we basically stayed in the house and watched basketball/movies or played games. On the couple of occasions when the medicine made us feel better than we really were, we got outside for some fresh air, away from other people. But we weren't able to do most of the things that we had planned (golf, shopping, spa, etc.). We even had a bottle of champagne chilled for after Kaleb proposed and we never even opened it. I think all of us need about 2 straight days of sleep. Early Monday though, Kaleb has work and Andie has school (which she'll attend remotely since she may still be contagious). Micheline and I can recover a bit tomorrow but then my sister and her husband are in town for a visit.

But I suppose if knee highs were worn. perhaps on RCI site they will advise on shorts.
