I have to wear one appliance all day and a 2 piece upper one at night. I have one appointment a week with a registered massage therapist for deep tissue massage and another for heat treatments through the TMJ clinic. I can now easily slide my thumb into my mouth sideways. I have doubled my motion. Still have a way to go though. I am glad there is progress but sorry it’s taking so long to rectify

Rare h20skibum Posted October 29, 2023 #106754 Share Posted October 29, 2023 Yesterday was my grandson’s last, regular season football game. They won 38-14. Next Saturday is the championship game. They are playing a team they beat in the regular season, so he is hoping for a repeat.

I’m not one of them …😜 We use to wait until after my sons birthday in December before putting up decorations. Now it's usually the first week in December. We always get a real tree and after a few weeks they start dropping their needles. I have decorations going back to when the kids were born

They do a short fall schedule from Boston every year. We are in 9260, which is a center aft facing balcony. We typically book corners but there were none available. Love the big balconies on the aft. We had 9660 next door a few weeks ago on Serenade Loved the balcony
sgmn Posted October 29, 2023 #106758 Share Posted October 29, 2023 (edited) We were going to have a extended family meet up in Virginia Water park ( part of Windsor Great Park) today for an Autumn walk, but its been cancelled due to bad storms expected. Disappointing as I haven't seen some of my neices and nephews and their families for a couple of years. My immediate family is still coming over and I'll cook a roast dinner instead xx Edited October 29, 2023 by sgmn
Rare h20skibum Posted October 29, 2023 #106759 Share Posted October 29, 2023 I think we will only put up our pencil tree in our family room this year, since we are leaving so early for Florida. That will have to wait till after Thanksgiving, because that is where we set up for Thanksgiving dinner, and we will have 12-14 people plus our big table we set up.

We try to do something each year and this year was a trip back to Charleston and the local area. We stayed downtown, right across from the market, for 1 night then went across the bay to Mount Pleasant, much more reasonable and on the marsh, for another few nights. We have been to Charleston before so have done most of tours so this time was wandering around, shopping, eating, and drinking so nit too many pictures. The next few days we bopperd around to Folly Beach, Sullivan's Island, visited the Angel Oak a 400 year old hugh living oak, the USS Yorktown a retired navy vessel and stopped to tour Boone Plantation on the way back home. Great few days where the weather cooperated beautifully. Lots of great places, here are a few pictures from 36 years ago and this past week. On our anniversary in front of the Pineapple fountain in Charleston The pineapple fountain without the distraction The pink houses in the French district We had dinner at a restaurant called Church and Union, for anyone who the book The Art of War, the entire book is written on the ceiling. Your bill is then out into the book, it's fairly short, where you can add notes etc the book. Interesting place. Lots of great restaurants in Charleston. Angel Oak, not quite like Maui but quite large and still growing Didn't take many pictures on the Yorktown. Just this of a Blue Angel plane on the deck overlooking the bridge And one of my daily, sshh, Bloody Mary's, this was the best at Poe's on Sullivan's Island. The entry to Boone Plantation, gorgeous The main house A few shots from the Shem's Creek area, beautiful spot to what the sunset Looking out towards the bay, hotel to the right lots of restaurants along both sides, Charleston across the bay. A few of the shrimp boats, the creek is lined with them Sunset Found a feathered friend on the walk though the marsh, pictures don't do it justice. Great photos including nice wedding photo. Happy 36th wedding anniversary. Edited October 29, 2023 by grapau27 2
reallyitsmema Posted October 29, 2023 #106770 Share Posted October 29, 2023 Pretty sunrise getting back into Boston this morning. Followed into port by Seven Seas Mariner. Easy getting off ship as we didn’t have to go through customs since we already did in Bar Harbor. Left cabin just after 8, at curb at 8:23 and first laundry in before 9. 🙂
helen haywood Posted October 29, 2023 #106771 Share Posted October 29, 2023 Not sure what, if anything, we’ll do for holiday decorations. At our previous home we had a stained glass front door so couldn’t put a wreath up…. Once upon a time there I used to frequently have the house on the Christmas Tour so lots of decorations…including a lit tree up in the cupola. One gets burned out. Especially as it’s just the two of us. I’ve considered having someone wrap lights around our palm tree here…or go with Christmas flamingos…
