Anyone who has been on Odyssey care to tell me what you thought of the ship? I have not sailed on this class of ship.

Loved it!❤️ Would definitely book again.

Quantum plus class and felt like a wider version of Anthem. I like the Oasis class, no doubt, but I like the Quantum class way better. Just a matter of preference.

Laura's new favorite.

iFly

Bumper Cars

Music Hall

Giovanni's Wine Bar

Izumi

Two70

Playmakers

El Loco Fresh

Windjammer

We're back on her in March right after the Group Cruise

Very different than Anthem

With a couple of new venues, I felt it was very much like a wider version of the Anthem, having been on both. I loved it.

We closed today!  And also got AT&T out to hook up internet, security system rep out to set system to be monitored, termite guy out to trench and meeting with pet sitter.  Whew!  Back at our hotel drinking celebratory wine.  Best of all DH is now very happy and excited about our move.  Great to be on the same page again!!

Congratulations! Wishing you many happy years and new memories in your new home.

We would like to see photos of your feet on the IFly and Northstar!  😃

Wouldn’t we rather see his feet in person on the Bella cruise 😇😂?!

I just bought 2 device plan for our 12.04 sailing.   Saved a little under $5 vs the casino discounts we get.

Bought the 3 device plan and 1 soda pkg with voom for $18.99 for Chris for our March sailing with them.

And bought Jamie's lunch for $16.99 for our Dec sailing.

Eric is thinking about the 4 of us doing Wonderland in March.

Still hoping to see excursion for Blue Lagoon to go on sale for March.

Coco Cay water park on sale for $43.99 for day pass may grab that for the kids.

I am glad it worked out for you.   It looks like it has worked for some, not so good for others.  RC IT. 🤪

Have you tried Wonderland land before? We enjoyed it on Symphony and Harmony last year.  I forget what ship you are on in March. I was looking for a good 3 day meal plan but no real sale on it and the UDP was not great.

That's a great waterpark price.  Surprised you didn't get tickets too!  We really enjoyed it and you can get some great pics from the top of the slides too.

I am off to sous vide a turkey breast.  I guess it has become an annual thing now!.

3 day sailing for our cruise was $95 and 5 day for $162.

Was thinking maybe going for the 3 day but not sure might that price get lower?

We have our Diamond Plus Buy-One Get One Free, we plan on using the first 2 nights................But it seems thes packages they are selling make you reservations for the first 2 nights.

So  just how is that handled? I rather use the two B1G1F the first 2 nights and use the 3 day packages later on the other 14 days of the 16 day cruise. Does anyone know how they handle that?

Thanks everyone for the well wishes!!  Now comes the not so fun part…more packing and the movers…and a mountain of unpacking…and, most stressful of all, moving the cats…. And then hoping they acclimate quickly.  The pet sitter that came over was the most unbelievably thorough one I’ve ever dealt with!!!  She was at our house for an hour and a half!!!  She went into what she’d do if one of the girls was sick…what if it was an after hours emergency…. I thought I was a good planner but she was light years ahead of me…and gave me new things to worry about…sigh.

She told me about a Facebook group for lost pets.  Yikes!!  My worst nightmare.

But will they break the tables in the parking lot and throw “bedroom toys’ on the field?😂

These kids have it all wrong. They should be cheering like this if the day went backward to Thursday. 😂

Looking forward to our 8 night southern over Chistmas in 2023 on her.

That was our trip, minus Christmas.

Now I will say we wete in an OS and only had about 2500 passengers, might not be as pleasant with 4000+

How long is the drive from your old house to the new house?

If this helps you predict price ups and downs for the sales:

($5.99 is great for soda package).
Currently soda pkg $7.99. Internet plus soda is $18.99....for our Jan and March sailing.

Coco pass was $88 for March sailing.

Internet for Jan and March is $1 up this morning at $14.99

Blue Lagoon Dolphin experience was $99 and Stingray was $57 for Nov sailing.

Will revisit on Cyber Monday unless I read something new.

I am eyeing that Serenade sailing and one other. I love that ship. I want to go before that lovely old lady sails the world cruise and gets "tired" or develops gut problems.🤣🤣

Thank you for this info 🤩

That would be awesome if you join us next September on the Serenade repo🥰    We, also, love the Serenade and nice itinerary for the repo too!  We booked an ovb on deck 7 towards aft with the extended balcony for $1945 with port fees.  Pretty good price for a 12 night sailing.

We go to any specialty dining venue after boarding and have them re arrange the reservations, so D + BOGO can be used on the days it can be used (day 1 or 2) and the package reservations go for later days.
Some people suggested to pre book individual restaurants you plan on going to, in cruise planner and then when you go let them know that you are using BOGO or TA's specialty dinner voucher and they will refund the difference as OBC or however you booked.
Both ways to do this have worked for us.

When and where are you cruising? I am very happy to see that you finally feel comfortable cruising.

Website worked fine for me this morning and I received all the email confirmations.

Yes, I surprised Eric last March with dinner at Wonderland for his birthday.   We both enjoyed the uniqueness of it and think the kids would be WOW'd with it.

We are on Anthem.

I'm not seeing any good dining pkg sales yet.   Maybe next week as I suspect they will update their sale.

That is an awsome price for a 12 nighter in a balcony, for the Serenade. Just have to work out some date kinks before we decide.

The 3 night package for $95 is good.  Right now ours is showing $113 which is what it has been for awhile.   The norm was $110 but everything has bumped up.  The UDP for our 7 day cruise is $226 which is about what we paid for the 8 day.

With the plans you just go to about any specialty restaurant to make reservations for whatever is available.  Just make sure you do it as soon as you board.  Do they offer an UDP for a 16 day cruise?  I bet that would be expensive.

UDP is not offered on longer cruise like this.
