Anyone who has been on Odyssey care to tell me what you thought of the ship? I have not sailed on this class of ship.

We closed today!  And also got AT&T out to hook up internet, security system rep out to set system to be monitored, termite guy out to trench and meeting with pet sitter.  Whew!  Back at our hotel drinking celebratory wine.  Best of all DH is now very happy and excited about our move.  Great to be on the same page again!!

I do plan on checking prices for the March cruise with the kids as well as prices for our Dec 4th sailing and 1 other we have booked for next year.

It's back up.  For our cruise the planner is offering $14.99 plus $11.99 for each additional device.

We got it awhile back.  Ours averaged $11.75 each.  So we still saved a little.

Cruise Planner is weirded out. I started last night trying to purchase. We have a B2B in March. Unlike some folks, the price actually went down when I went to purchase the DBP for week 2. I couldn't get it to do the same for week 1, so I thought I would wait until today. The site has been up and down all day, and then I couldn't get it to accept my credit card to place order. And now I have 4 pending charges on my cc, that will hopefully drop off. I will check over the weekend but might wait until Monday to try again.

I loved it.  But maybe my experience was swayed, because we were sailing at about 1/3 capacity in October, 2021.  A great 8 day itinerary.

In case you missed it, this was my review from that sailing.  It brings back good memories.

We may be the oddball but was not a big fan of Quantum class overall.  There are nice areas, 270, Music Hall to hang out.  Neat things iFly, North Star, bumper cars, etc but how often can you do them.  We enjoy the larger promenade on Voyager, Freedom and Oasis class but the biggest thing was it was always felt crowded no matter where you go.  We have been on Quantum, Anthem and most recently Odyssey which was supposedly at less then 75% capacity, dont remember exact numbers anymore, but it still felt more crowded to us.

Having said that we won't discount any sailings on those ships just not our favorite.  I would say if you see a sailing that appeals to you try it for yourself.

Bob, if you get to St Augustine, check out the lighthouse and the keeper’s house, which is haunted. No guarantee you’ll see the haunt, but you can climb to the top of the lighthouse.

We had planned to go there but spent more time at the Alligator Farm across the street than planned.  Didn't know it was haunted...that will attract Micheline.  Next time.

I just bought 2 device plan for our 12.04 sailing.   Saved a little under $5 vs the casino discounts we get.

Bought the 3 device plan and 1 soda pkg with voom for $18.99 for Chris for our March sailing with them.

And bought Jamie's lunch for $16.99 for our Dec sailing.

Eric is thinking about the 4 of us doing Wonderland in March.

Still hoping to see excursion for Blue Lagoon to go on sale for March.

Coco Cay water park on sale for $43.99 for day pass may grab that for the kids.

That's great you were to get in and booked a couple sale prices.

I wasn't planning on looking until next week.  I'm surprised they started some sales this early.

I'm hoping to grab your internet price for at least our 12.04 sailing.

Also, want to see a sale for Blue Lagoon for our March cruise with the kids.  They want to check it out.   App not showing sale there yet.

Chris wants the soda pkg. He doesn't drink alcohol.    Last year was $5.99 on actual Black Friday.

2 months ago I bought CoCo beach club pass for $78 for our Serenade sailing next year.

If this helps you predict price ups and downs for the sales:

($5.99 is great for soda package).
Currently soda pkg $7.99. Internet plus soda is $18.99....for our Jan and March sailing.

Coco pass was $88 for March sailing.

Internet for Jan and March is $1 up this morning at $14.99

Blue Lagoon Dolphin experience was $99 and Stingray was $57 for Nov sailing.

Will revisit on Cyber Monday unless I read something new.

I am eyeing that Serenade sailing and one other. I love that ship. I want to go before that lovely old lady sails the world cruise and gets "tired" or develops gut problems.🤣🤣
