Bergen, a UNESCO World Heritage City situated in the southwestern coast of Norway is surrounded by mountains and fjords.

DH tried samples of reindeer, moose and whale sausage.  He said it tasted like pork sausage only with a gaminess to it.

 

I don’t think I’d dare eat that fish.

That fish reminds me of the one at the Market Place in Seattle. The one they rig to jump out at you when you get close.

Apparently it’s National Beer Day- for anyone who wants a drink package, it might be worth checking. We don’t drink enough to make it worthwhile, so I don’t keep track of prices, but I thought it was actually a sale!

My new flow board bag arrived too.

My youngest granddaughter has pneumonia!  Poor kid was coughing and running a fever that would go up and down.  Thankfully, my daughter took her to her pediatrician after UrgiCare just gave her cough syrup.

Blood work, X-ray and a great pediatrician to the rescue.  Poor kid cried more for the nasal swab than the bloodwork😳 Anyway that’s the latest in our never dull life.

Thanks,MJ.One of the people working in the dentist office highly recommended ice cream.The medication that I am on causes extreme drowsiness and I am sleeping a lot more than usual .

This is Lola when my daughter leaves to go somewhere.  Thank goodness she isn’t smaller to squeeze through the gate.  She is such an affectionate little love. ❤️

Nothing like 2 1/2 hours of sleep to make a person feel refreshed.  After taking a dinner break where Little Miss HBE4 made a slightly inappropriatly name but very delicious meal called Marry Me Chicken (sorry, no photos. You'll need to Goggle it) , resumed packing. Finished at 10:30 pm, in bed by midnight & awake by 2:30 am. Gave up trying to fall asleep by 3;30 am.

 

Gonna be a long day.

That poor baby!!  I hope she begins to feel better quickly, now that she's been diagnosed properly and is on the right medication.  Is this the granddaughter that lives with you?❤️

No, my widowed daughter’s daughter.  They are here all the time though.  My daughter said this is when she really misses her husband.  She is thankful she has all our family to help out.  Even the puppy cheered my granddaughter up today!

It is not the medication it is old age I can fall asleep anywhere anytime except at bedtime.
