Resume The Windjammer?

Recommended Posts

The answer is ROBOTS!  And Voice activated Automated Dispensers.

Mashed potatoes dispensed from a hose nozzle.  Eggs dropping from a chute.  Steaks moving on a conveyer.

Everyone gets a set of bio-degradeable, disposable gloves that dissolve when they get blown overboard into the salt water.

Tables have dividers making them into mini-booths.  They get sprayed down and wiped after use.  Or maybe separated by paper curtains that get changed out.

The whole Windjammer becomes one big cafeteria line.  RCL will take lunch ladies out of retirement!

THIS IS THE FUTURE!

Keep the line moving and all will be well.

No more meals served anywhere on the ship - I heard all balconies were going come equipped with a grill.

Those in OV's and insides will have a fridge and have to eat cold cuts.

There was actually an attempt to have an Auto Mat in NYC a few years ago but it did not do too well. Most likely because the residents were not around in the days that the Auto Mat was popular.I loved eating at the one in the area where I grew up.

I was going to include the automat, but you would have to press a button and pull open a door.  Who knows whether the prior person licked the door handle!

A conveyor would be less touchy with everything in a blister pack box.

I went to the one in NYC (Automat) before they closed it up, I think around 1999 or 2000.  Did not see anything I wanted to eat.

Other than that, it was depicted in a few Bugs Bunny cartoons

We had them in Philadelphia first.  NYC followed 10 years later.  😄 😄 😄
