Our NHS said they could send oxygen to our home if my breathing became really bad but reality is they would take me to hospital where visitors are not allowed. All the specialised meds and treatments are only available at our NHS hospitals for extreme cases. Do you have a primary care physician that you can call? If so, I suggest you ask the doctor about Famotidine Zpack Prednisone We are taking Vitamin C, D3, and Zinc. You should always check with your doctor before taking any medications or over the counter meds especially with your heart condition. M8 Currently the family doctors(GPs) are only doing telephone appointments. If I took bad Pauline would ring an ambulance and they would take me to hospital about 4 miles from home. As there is no visiting currently allowed at hospital that would be last resort for me. Graham Edited November 18, 2020 by grapau27

mets07 Posted November 18, 2020 #109 Share Posted November 18, 2020 We were on Long Island in late September and the beach had an almost-Caribbean look. Just a little cooler. 😉 Beautiful. Best to you all!
Rare Tippyton Posted November 19, 2020 #110 Share Posted November 19, 2020 Bigger question.....I have had it and recovered. I have a piece of paper I keep with me that says I've had it. Why do I need a vaccine? And why should I take one to get a certificate that says so? I want to get on a cruse too, but some of this nonsense needs to get sorted out and the more the CDC mucks in the way the longer it will take. Fact. If you have had it, and you have protective antibodies, why should you have a foreign substance injected into you? Schools and jobs that require immunizations typically require vaccination records OR blood antibody titers that demonstrate probable immunity, OR physician diagnosed history of having had the disease. 2

surfone Posted November 19, 2020 #118 Share Posted November 19, 2020 I don't think cruising will begin before May or June if cruiselines are going with proof of vaccine. The thousands of crew members alone will have to be vaccinated and most are not going to be able get the vaccine due to the priority of the phases on who gets them first. (health care workers, nursing home residents, the older age population, etc.,) Even by June or July I think very few ships per line will be sailing. I suppose it depends on the number of vaccines that can be ready, and so much more behind the scenes that we are not even aware of yet that must take place. Let me ask this. If one is vaccinated, and works around COVID19 patients, what’s the probability they can pass COVID19 on to others. Asking for me. I read something yesterday that about the length of immunity being longer than previously reported. It suggested that you might be able to pass on the virus, but in much lower quantities for a much shorter time, or you may never shed enough virus to be infectious.

It is the only way to truly ensure they don't get any outbreaks onboard, secure port entry and even to protect against false test results in my opinion. Will they be able to dictate what vaccine they require passengers to have to board ie the Moderna as it appears more effective than pfizer? Or will they have to accept the fact that passenger has been vaccinated with name the vaccine. Are you kidding me? What kind of a question is that? Of course they can't dictate which vaccine someone gets.

That would be great news for everyone in the US and here in the UK. Graham I hope you are feeling better soon. I don't think I want to catch it to test the immunity theory. With my luck, I would then contract the mink variant. Edited November 19, 2020 by Coralc

SARS1 and SARS2 are closely related. Research on SARS 1 gave us a jump start on SARS 2. SARS 1 infectees are immune 17 years later. SARS 1 infectees are immune to SARS 2. Kommon Kore math is not needed to answer the question, although the truly scientific answer is "we don't know" because it is novel and we dont have a lot of history. As every day passes we get an extra day of demontrated immunity.
