So this day has arrived. 

 

We had booked a 10:45 shuttle from the hotel for our 12-12:30 boarding time.  The shuttle was about 25 minutes late, but that worked out perfect.  
 

We were the first off the shuttle at 11:30, and 15 minutes later we are thru security and waiting now to board.

Oh, and they do have the rubber vaccinated bands.  I prefer these over some I have seen.

I was going to say the same thing, Bob, about Mark posting ocean pictures in place of his lake pics!

When you get a chance can you do a walk thru in the Casino and see if they have any old type of slot machines.  Not those fancy light-up specials.

From one Western Pennsylvanian to another, have a great cruise!  I'll be following along. We're booked on B2B Odyssey cruises in January.  Haven't booked flights yet, because recent Southwest troubles are giving me pause.

I was just able to see Odyssey on the WebCam.  Enjoy the cruise.  Looking forward to following.  Where do you plan to eat tonight?  Going to a show?

Boarding was probably the quickest ever. 
 

 

 

 Got aboard and went to the Solarium Bistro for lunch.  It was very quiet there, and the crew was very attentive.

Sail away was about 6:20.

The captain is so friendly and we had an amazing wedding on board!!!

Before we finished course lunch, they announced that the cabins were open around 1:20

 

We walked to our cabin, and our suitcases were already waiting outside our door. 
 

We are in a regular, mid-ship balcony cabin because Royal evidently didn’t like my UP bids.

We did manage to get all the shows booked that we wanted to see this week.  Here is the schedule. 

 

We also booked an I-fly session later this week for both of us.   That should be interesting.

Spent our afternoon relaxing in the Solarium, and now it is time to get ready for dinner.  We are in the MDR tonight, because we love the first night prime rib.

Me too!  When is sailaway?

Is that X ship across the way The Edge?  It looks smaller than I thought it would be but could be the position of the camera?
