Do kids get 4 each as well?  Can we as their parents use theirs?

Don't deprive them of the sugar rush of drinking 4 mocktails per day! 🤣

Joking aside, my 8 & 12 year old nieces became quite addicted to virgin daiquiris during our last family cruise.

My girls are similar in age but mostly water drinkers. They do love the virgin drinks but would rather a few ice cream cones at the pool!

It wasn't an either/or with my nieces. 🤣

We are Diamond+.  It happens pretty often that we don't use all of ours as lately we have been working remotely onboard M-F 8-4:30 so that limits the day drinking and we drink for free in the casino while its open so that covers most evenings.  As a result, we are not really day drinking unless weekend or we take a vacation day and otherwise are just using our Diamond+ drinks while watching entertainment or at meals.

We use our extras pretty often to buy a drink for the pub/schooner entertainers we like or guests we have met and like and that might not have drink packages or be able to get drinks in the casino comped.  At the end of every evening if we have not used all our drinks for the day, we go to a bar that is not that busy right before midnight and use the rest of our drinks on beer/ciders/seltzers/pop and take them to the cabin to be used on days when the casino does not open until late (port days, embarkatation days on B2Bs, etc).

I've read conflicting reports.  It would be great if all ships had that policy.  We're doing a B2B this month.  It would be nice if I could go down in the morning and get 5 beers for me and 5 for my wife to put in my stateroom for the next cruise.

Not sure why you would do that - you would not be getting four additional vouchers that day.

Can you use your Diamond vouchers for any type or size of coffee at the coffee shop, unlike the restrictions when you get a  “free” coffee because the  coffee machine in the Diamond lounge is broken?

Can you get alcoholic coffees with a voucher?

Last time I saw someone getting multiple beers, the bartender told him that he had to open them.

Did they open them all when they used to sell the beer cooler?

I have taken one open, one closed with the BOGO coupon.

Most servers are nice enough to bend the rules in my experience. I have taken unopened Truly's back to my cabin to put in the cooler.

Last four cruises we have never experienced this.  No problem taking two unopened beers back to cabin.

No.  I would get them on my initial seapass if allowed, then I would get a new seapass for the 2nd leg loaded with new vouchers.

We were Harmony B2B last year, and I did have a bloody mary the morning using the first seapass.

We've always gotten unopened beverages at the end of the evening when cashing in our remaining vouchers.

You get vouchers on debark morning to use before accounts are closed.  Then you get vouchers upon boarding on the new cruise.

Some people are reporting that they are not able to use their drink vouchers on debarkation morning.  IT seems, from my reading across multiple threads, that it varies from ship to ship.

The guy argued that, but was told they were keeping a close eye on the bartenders and they needed to be opened.

That cruise, they were also very accurate on their pours. Normally, they put more than a measure.  They would also not provide a double.  But you could order one, then order another and pour them together.

I guess the Food and Beverage Manager was being a PITA.

As I recall the insulated beer cooler came with a bottle opener.

That also varies from bartender to bartender.  We were on Harmony, and in one bar they gave the exact amount of the jigger with no overfill.  They rotated bartender from station to station, and one couple drinking scotch & vodka would follow a particular one to his next bar as he gave very generous pours.  Tips also help once the bartender gets to know you.
