Teafor2 Posted December 17, 2022 #1 Share Posted December 17, 2022 Can someone please enlighten me - if the mini bar is set up for 2 elites, can 1 elite change it to coffee card and the other retain the mini bar? Also, is the mini bar set up for 2 elites the same as for 1 elite? We came across these questions on our recent cruise on the Regal.

justafem Posted December 17, 2022 #3 Share Posted December 17, 2022 Only one minibar per cabin, unless in a suite. Then you get 2 if someone is elite.

skynight Posted December 17, 2022 #6 Share Posted December 17, 2022 You trade the entire mini bar for two coffee packages. Half trades are not allowed.
reedprincess Posted December 17, 2022 #7 Share Posted December 17, 2022 (edited) 12 hours ago, that said: Only one mini bar per married couple in cabin One mini-bar per cabin, regardless of relationship of Elites in cabin. They could be married, "living in sin", friends, transitioning, pineapples, complete strangers matched by a booking site, acquaintances, whatever - makes no difference. 2 (3 or 4 for that matter) elites in 1 cabin - 1 mini-bar setup. Unless, of course, the 2 (3 or 4) Elites are in a suite. Then, 1 Elite mini-bar setup, and 1 Suite setup per cabin. No extras for extra Elite guests, etc. Edited December 17, 2022 by reedprincess

You can trade any one or all non-alcoholic or alcoholic beverage for soda. You can also trade the entire mini bar, 10 alcoholic and 10 non alcoholic, for two coffee packages. There are no partial trades for the coffee packages. The coffee packages are normally assigned one each to two occupants of the cabin. You can ask to have them assigned to another person, example a relative/friend in another cabin, or both packages to one person if you wish. LouCoop Posted December 19, 2022 #12 Share Posted December 19, 2022 I remember reading somewhere that you could change for bottles of wine (1 or 2). Is that still happening?

paradiselivin1 Posted December 24, 2022 #24 Share Posted December 24, 2022 On Enchanted since 12/9 for b2b of 10 days each. 1st setup was a joke as they only had scotch (bleh). Turned it in for 2 coffee cards that we are still using on the 2nd 10-day part of this trip ~ just rolled over from the 1st cruise. Now, the 2nd bar set-up was wonderful! Since they didn't have the "pony" bottles of vodka/gin, etc., we were left the two bottles of beer and a 375ml bottle of gin and vodka each. Hard to complain about that one! One the 1st part of the cruise it took a few days to make the exchange but on the current leg of the cruise, we waited a day or two to exchange the beer for more tonic water and it was done in a day.
