Royal Caribbean starving crew members

Currently on the second leg of a b2b on Grandeur of the Seas. Just found out from crew why they won't come back to this ship on their next contract. There is no food available to crew after 11:30 pm. They go to bed hungry.

All closing bar staff casino and workers have nothing to eat after 11:30. Unless you have snack food stashed in your cabin.

I find this totally unacceptable and am absolutely livid about this situation.

When I get home emails and phone calls will be made by me to Royal about this.

The crew is what makes your company money. How dare you as a company treat your employees like this.

I'm on Grandeur again in February and will be bringing food( dry noodles) to help the crew get through the night.

We as passengers need to speak up to defend the crew members that we know and love that go the distance to take such good care of us.

Take action!

Otherwise your favorite crewmember may leave you and Royal forever!

Sorry OP, we are all making fun of you which is not very nice of us especially right around Holiday time. But this crew member is blowing smoke up your funnel. I just hope you didn't get talked into tipping him/her too much. Try to enjoy the rest of your cruise.

Dry noodles, hmmm? And how do you think they are going to cook these? Crew members are not allowed to cook in their cabins, by public health rules. Correct @chengkp75

The Crew Mess is probably one of the most important areas onboard for the crew. It is like a large dining hall where everyone can get their breakfast, lunch, dinner and even midnight snack. It isn’t always open with food but often if the crew are hungry they can enjoy some pastry snacks along with tea, coffee, and juices.

In the crew mess, there will usually be a large TV where members can come together and watch sports. Even in the later hours of the night, this area can be full of activity as the crew head on down to eat after long days shift. One of the best times to eat in the mess is at midnight, it is when food not used in the guest dining rooms head on down to the crew, this could include the extremely iconic Carnival Chocolate Melting Cake! It can be the best time to go to the mess and a time when fellow workers can come together and discuss their day.

Consider using a smaller font. Thank you.

I've had this craving all day and didn't know what it was for. Now I know - Ramen under tap!  😋

I was not.  As many know, I’m dead serious about raisins.

So I hope that doesn't mean I just wasted my time finding this....

I was trying to bring everyone together so I found Ramen Noodle Cookies!  They are made with Ramen Noodles, white chocolate chips, m&m's and......raisins!

Of course everybody on this thread would immediately say “I don’t believe that.” 😂. With all of the cutbacks, I wouldn’t be shocked. But if course most on here weirdly and blindly believe that the public company that takes there money could do no wrong.

But, isn't the tap water unsafe to drink?  How do I heat my bottled water?

13yr old Grand Daughter ate them for Breakfast few hrs ago...water right out the Tap!

I have never heard this complaint from any crew member for as long as I have been sailing.  Over time we have become friendly with many of the crew on many Royal ships and I have never had any of them tell me they were "starving" I have heard them say that the food is  bland, tasteless and much the same every day. Lots of rice, vegetables, bread and pasta. Maybe the crew member was just missing food from home and was having a hard time adjusting to the food choices. That would show poorly of Royal to "starve" their people. Don't you think?

Whew, the blind belief police are here....  thought they wouldn't make it in the first two pages of posts.

Wow, all of the sudden the whole crockpot thing makes sense.

People aren't bringing the pots to use themselves, they're tipping the crew with them!

YOU get a crockpot!

YOU get a crockpot!

YOU ALL get crockpots!

Better a crockpot than a crock story.
