Alternative C&A benefits on UWC

Recommended Posts

Would you give up your C&A gifts, Dining BOGO, free picture, and spa discount for OBC?

A little something they're offering for folks on the entire UWC

Beside access to the suite lounge and Chops for breakfast what are you giving up besides a few bottles of wine?

The discounts mentioned and the photo

CL may be off limits anyway and I can't survive 274 big breakfasts

But those aren't really on the table anyway

How much is specialty dining for the UWC?   Losing the dining Bogo and spa discount would have me select pkg A, If I was going

Regular prices from what I can see. Not sure I see any pkgs yet.

FWIW, I've been taking advantage of cruise compass specials in spa lately. Can't use discount for those.

How would the Bogo work?  Would you get one bogo per week? per segment? per...? What about the spa discount, how much is your discount and how often would you go?

So you don't get drink vouchers on the world cruise? They should give some table wine at dinner at least.

Deluxe Beverage Package is included with fare.

UWC benefits are listed in John's first screen shot.

Sorry, I read that wrong. I thought they had to choose package A or B and the original was being removed.

Would I take $1700 instead of the Milestone benefits?

Solo passenger in a Jr Suite:  274 nights x 3 = 822 points

Milestone Cruise Certificate valued at the prevailing rate of a 7N Balcony
Stateroom for 700 and 1050 cruise points
Milestone Cruise Certificate valued at the prevailing rate of a Junior
Suite Stateroom for 1400 and every 350 cruise points thereafter

What?  miss out on 3 free cruises? (and 6 crystal blocks)

Do the points add per segment or at the end of the whole cruise?  Otherwise presume a good proportion of the ship will be diamond plus or pinnacle, especially as the cruise gets towards the end. Difficult to offer the perks to such a high proportion of upper tier cruisers.

I would definitely go with the OBC

Wonder if the Diamond and up segmenters will get their normal benefits 🤔

So, if you opt out of the C&A perks, does that include being barred from the specialty restaurant (Chops) breakfast ?  That would be a hard NO for me.

You could buy a lot of drinks and pay restaurants for $2,550 ? .. is that for the whole 9 legs, or how long you are booked. .. I could buy a lot for that obc.

Good choice. You can buy quite a few specialty dining evenings for $2,500 in OBC. Of course with only three specialty restaurants on board, even that could get a bit boring after a while.

But you could still use the OBC for those services and still have OBC left

One per mini leg is my guess

No, from what I understand

Really doubt I'll go that much. I'd gain 50 pounds over 9 months
