Does the buffet on Caribbean Princess have trays?

I want to grab one or two to keep in my cabin to get food/drinks from the IC and need a way to carry it all.

I was on the Caribbean in January and there were no trays in the buffet.

 

If you can snag a room service tray from somewhere and hang onto it, you can carry things to your cabin.

Nope...trays have not been used in the buffet for quite some time.  Do what others above have suggested...snag one from room service. (Oh...but I guess that's going to cost you $5! 🙄)

Room Service trays are huge.  It will take up the entire elevator.  The smaller mini-bar trays are too small.

Thought is was a one time opt-in of $14.99 with standard fare?

It has been awhile since I cruised, but isnt there a tray on the desk with glasses and an ice bucket?  I seem to recall using that to transport things from the IC and the buffet.

You could also bring a small tray from home (think 99 cent store?). Since those trays are mostly flat, it wouldn't take up much room.

That was my thought.  But there are no more 99ç stores or Dollar Stores.  Approaching $5 Room Service charge (ha ha).

I apologize.  CA still has them, prices are just not 99 cents/$1.

Nope. Room service ordered on the phone will cost $5 per delivery. The $14.95 fee will allow you to order to your cabin - or anywhere else - via the app whether on your phone or on the TV. (Although some cruises have had the TV option removed - at least temporarily)

In the buffet on the Majestic I asked the waiters for a tray to take 2 plates of food down to my elderly parents and they got one from the clean up service area. It was not a problem, I would hope you could ask the waiters who clear the tables on the Caribbean as well and get one off them.

I think we've decided to order the Continental breakfast from the door hang tag and that will be our wake-up call. Will dump the stuff on the table and then take the tray down to the IC to get other goodies. Then of course hide the tray for future IC  trips.

Again, $14.95 one time opt-in to OceanNow will get unlimited room service? We never order room service to the room, so never use the phone.

I may be wrong but isn't room service free only for those with a Plus and Premium package? Everyone else has to pay $5.00 per order with a $14.95 initial charge per person.
