Fascinating tidbit I learned today....apparently sea shanties have become very popular lately.  A sea shanty, chantey, or chanty is a type of work song that was once commonly sung to accompany labor on board large merchant sailing vessels. The term shanty most accurately refers to a specific style of work song belonging to this historical repertoire.  I have been singing the one linked below since I heard it earlier this morning.  My bit of joy!

Excellent news spins!  I think I might get lucky at the end of August.  In the meantime it is state of emergency here in Ontario with a stay home order for 28 days.  It's going to be a long winter!

Oh my, anyone feeling glum and pondering how the cruise industry has changed in the last 12 months should just take a peak on YouTube at the original episodes of The Love Boat. I was 5 when it started. I Think lockdown must be getting to me.
