Anyone know for sure if when we all start again will the medallion colors represent your status? If so what will the colors be. I see 4 as of January 2020, Gold, Ruby, Platinum, What color is Elite? Grey, Black or Blue ?

elite is black

Use this link https://book.princess.com/captaincircle/membershipBenefits.page to see what the different levels are.

Tom😀

Thanks Tom. I previously did that. Does not show blue of which people have received blue ones. It shows, Gold, Ruby, Platinum and for Elite Black. No Blue. If you google colors of the Princess medallion you see a lot of blue ones.

I did read where the original ones were all Blue. Not sure if they no longer use blue. It sounds like they do not. The Blue of course is Princess colors Blue and White.

We were on the Sky Princess near the end of February, my girlfriend had her first cruise and had a blue medallion. I was on my second and had a gold one. Blue is for your first cruise, when you don't have any Captain Circles benefits. I don't believe that has changed since.

i believe that is correct - all "medallions" were blue and you could buy inserts to show your actual captain's circle level

that has changed as I'm sure the "elitest / black color level highest captain's circle level couldn't accept having a "blue" medallion

but "blue" is associated with a first cruise on Princess cruiser

So Blue is now for a first time cruiser on a medallion class Princess ship. Correct?

no

first time cruisers on Princess either get a "blue card" ( non-medallion ships ) or a blue color medallion

This. It's for first time cruisers on Princess. I sailed on Caribbean Princess back in 07 as my first cruise. Sky Princess was my first Medallion ship, and I had a gold medallion.

These are our medallions from our 1st & so far only medallion cruise. Our medallions are platinum encased in the Princess blue casing. We didn't pay extra for anything. It all came to us - medallion, casing, & neck lanyard - prior to sailing.

  • 2 weeks later...

I saw someone with pink on my last cruise. The black is just so boring. I'd buy the necklace if I could have the pink or blue. Otherwise ill continue keeping it in my pocket 😞

There are posts here on CC with templates to make your Medallion insert whatever you like. This one was made for me. Sadly, we have yet to sail on a Medallion cruise. The blank template (correct size for the Medallion insert) is available in a post or two somewhere here on CC. Possibly in this same thread. (Yes, I'm being lazy and not looking because my wife wants something at the moment and I'm going to do whatever it is she's asking about. 😄)

Thinking of this as I lost it in the casino before. Fortunately they can tell you exactly where it is!! But I think the price tag is a bit exorbitant as I only need the bezel. Ah well I'm not on a cruise at least until April anyway

How do you scan it at the bar? You will need to remove it. The scanner at a bar in on the bar and sometimes not near the front of it. They do not use a hand scanner. Also if I recall it is about $45.00. and very big.

Good point. Thought just the bezel and a long ribbon. Its quite bulky in the holder they send with it. I currently have this which works ok but still bulky:

When I lose it again I'll ask PSD if I can have blue.

I’m booked on 2 Medallion Cruises. One of my cancelled cruises by Princess still shows up on my Medallion App & in my Personalizer. How do I remove the cancelled cruise from my Medallion app & can I add more than one cruise into the app?

Thanks!

A great find. Not sure I can mention which one. it is the oldest auction site. I just found  Princess Medallion pendants. Inexpensive also. $15.00 & $20.00 a lot less then the Princess holders. They are not GOLD though. One is silver, another is white and a third has Rhinestones surrounding the Medallion. They come with your choice of different length Snake chains that are Sterling Silver. Shipping is included also.
