Royal Caribbean Cruisers -- How Are Things Where You Are? (was "Routine" 😁 day in lockdown... how was yours?)

two negative tests ✔️
one flight delay already ✔️

I guess flight delays are still a sign of the times.  At least it is a direct flight, and only delayed 16 minutes so far.

Good luck to others testing and traveling.

Good news about the negative tests.

I hope your flight is not delayed any longer and you have a great cruise.

GOOD MORNING

Well, 2 negative COVID TEST here.

To start with here is the thread I am starting.

Now just an FYI

To those of you who have never used the Bianax proctored test some heads up.

We thought we would save some time and set up our accounts and passwords last night.

Well when we went to log on at 6:40am. it rejected them.

Do not do ahead of time.

So after a frustrating 30 min.  we created new accounts and to make a short story long, we both completely re-did and tested negative.

So I will be updating it with some saved trivia soon.

Happy in Ohio.

A friend of mine has a theory that if you have a conversation for several hours with a total stranger you will find that you know at least one person.

This always happens to me.A guy who is a CC regular gave me his e-mail address because we both lived in the same city in NY.After a few back to back e-mails we determined that he and his wife had friends that they lost touch with 41 years ago.My wife and I met this couple 39 years ago and became friends with them and still are.

My family settled in Manhattan with Stuyvesant. So maybe less than 6 levels

Good news!  With all of the flight experiences in the last year, I almost see flights as frustrating as testing.  Today we fly out at 1pm.  I don’t remember flying from home that late in awhile but glad we didn’t have to get up a 4am.   Have a safe trip!

Last evening our cruise friends got home from work and started the eMed test when they realized they had the wrong type of test!  With a bit of panic they called RC and they said they really couldn’t get an answer from RC that made sense so they drove into town and found Walgreens pharmacy already closed!  We recommended Urgent Care.   About 30 minutes later we hear from them….. both negative!  Who ever thought that cruise prep could be so exciting!

It is from L1 to L4, it is big.  She had a cervical and a lumbar scan yesterday along with a brain scan with contrast.  Doing a lumbar with contrast to see tomorrow to see what is involved.  At least they might have found something after over two months.  Doctor was thinking there might be lumbar stenosis but wanted the other scans to rule out stroke and myelopathy.

Good luck today with your Mom's scan today.🙏

I'm glad he/she is out. I did not like him/her. However, he/she showed a better side of him/herself after he/she was voted out.

Sorry you missed this episode.  I was glad this person was voted out;  however, I was happily surprised with this person's reaction and actions after the vote was read.  Good for him/her!

As we neatly finished our walk we walked close to a small side pond. The frogs were so loud. This little guy was not about to move when we filmed him.

Right now It's pouring out, constant thunder & lightning. There's also a tornado watch. Talk about a 180!

Love the pictures and the video!  I hope the tornado threat is over;  hopefully, the threat was all that it was.  We had a tornado close to us in Collier County this past Winter.

Good morning.

It is currently 50°F and partly cloudy here.

I hope everyone is well and have a great day today.

Good morning Graham!  Pauline's breakfast looks wonderful!

Temps only going to high 50's by me.  I was surprised when I got up this morning to see the ground was all wet from unexpected rain!

We really breezed through airport security this morning.  No bags pulled aside, no metal detectors going off, no pat downs.  And, there were no lines at 9 am.  Walk up and walk through.

It appears only about 20 % of the people are masking up. I guess Thursday is a good day to fly.

By any chance did you hear on the news about an American tourist from NY dying at the Wailing Wall on May 9? He was a very close friend of my late brother-in-law.We got a call this morning about his death. He was in Israel with a cousin of his.He told his family that he wanted to go to Israel before he died.Apparently he had a heart attack.By the time the paramedics arrived it was too late.

So sorry, no. Didn't make the news. The ongoing political crisis is taking up all the "space" 😢

I took my Mom for a series of MRI scans yesterday and one of them shows a cyst on her spine.  They are doing that scan again tomorrow but with contrast this time.  She has an urgent referral to neurosurgery.  If she finds out she is having surgery next week, I am not sure I want to be so far away just in case there is an issue.

Sorry to hear this. Hopefully it can be taken care of without surgery and you can go on your cruise. ❤️

Made it to my DD house. She loves crafts. A few weeks ago she wanted to try polymer clay so I gave her a bunch of stuff I had.  She has been making beautiful earrings.   We discussed a design and she just showed me.  She is going to surprise Sharon and friend with them.  She just pulled them out of the oven.

It amazes me that you can eat all the food you post and not gain any weight. It’s the total opposite for me. 😩  Your food pictures always look so tasty.
