What happened to your Yankees yesterday ?

They lost a game to a team that clearly has their number. Thankfully, its only June and not even halfway thru the regular season.

Your radishes are beautiful.
A few years ago I learned how good roasted radishes are. A completely different taste!

Raw or roasted, I love them.

I love radishes also. I'll have to try roasting them!

I love radishes too.  I remember roasting radishes mentioned here last year but I have not tried it yet.   My radishes have not done as well yet this year.  I may plant a few more when I get home.

Harper has a good attitude about it: ""I kind of wish it would've hit me in the face. I don't break bones in my face," Harper said with a laugh. "I can take 98 to the face, but I can't take 97 to the thumb."

When does hockey season start again? 😉

Not a big Hockey fan here as I guess you are not a Big Giants or Jets Fan huh?

You are correct.

Although if I was a football fan, I'd probably got with the Jets, if only to annoy my brother and my in-laws. Plus, who doesn't like a underdog team who's due for a magical Cinderella season?

Here in Arkansas, the only place requiring masks are the Doctor's offices/hospital.  And that's a joke really, the minute the doc comes into the exam room, both of us take them off! LOL  The hospital group that runs the clinics  is the culprit.  My doc agrees they are pretty much useless.

I root for whoever is playing against the Cowboys, also the Buffalo Bills and Giants .

Owen’s team had a ball game this morning. Played 7 full innings and they won 13-6.

I also took a couple photos out by the pool after dinner. Which by the way was BBQ sausage, potatoes and peas. No photos of that though.

Someone was rather lazy from the hot day.

I took a couple photos of this on the drive home from the ball game that should make you laugh. I haven’t seen a Toyota Supra this clean in over a decade if not more.

Take a closer look at the license plate and plate holder. He must have bought this car new when Dallas last won the Super Bowl. LOL. Actually the plate signifies the 1992 win and the Supra is from the 82-86 model years.

Talk about die hard cause it’s been a long time.

He looks about the right vintage to possibly be the original owner.

And if the plate wasn’t enough let’s add some stickers, one on each side. That’s Dallas pride, even with all the Memes that circulate every football year.

The first night of the first weekend of summer party ended last night, with the kids in sleeping bags in the family room, with popcorn for a movie night.

They were all up early for breakfast at Bob Evans, then back here for games.  They did a Lego challenge, then since we are less than 6 months till Christmas, they built Santa’s sleigh and reindeer.

We checked on the sunflower seed that our resident grandson planted, and found it had sprouted.  Now we will need to find a place to transplant it.

We did an afternoon walk at the park, and found this friendly squirrel.

It looks like he is use to being fed, so we picked up something for our next trip there.

We were back on a Long Island, NY beach today. Smith Point Park. We had not been to this particular beach before.  Our younger son and his wife were planning to drive us on the beach in their jeep, but alas that part of the beach was closed today (we think ongoing for some weeks to protect nesting wildlife). Anyway we were forced to walk and carry our stuff (horrors) to a different part of the beach. This son and daughter-in-law are expecting their first baby at the end of October. ❤️
