Dani, is it cold there, or is it warm?  6am is just a little too early for me, thank you very much!😁

Maryann, I haven't the "foggiest" idea 😕 Yours truly, after struggling with her usual worries, just fells asleep at this hour.... OTOH, DH is already "marching" on the beach and taking pics 😉

The water temperature nowadays is ~80F, and outside temp is ~77F.

I totally understand. That was the situation I was in during the 2020 - we all went in to the office and did the best we could. And we were fine. Not everyone can just lock everything down as if it's no big deal. Especially now. We are past that point.

Totally agree!  My husband's company could not all work remotely during 2020 either.

Weird place to put a lighthouse. Just to the left of the glass skyscraper. Oceans casino in Atlantic City.  I'm next door, 30th floor of Hard Rock casino.

Zoomed in.  I'm guessing when it was built, it was the only thing there & the rest of the city was built around it.

By then it might be too late.

They are not going to start Bieber with just 3 days rest(he pitched 5 2/3rds on the 14th.) and ruin their young stud pitcher for the future..........Maybe if they need an out or 2 late in the game. But not more then a couple outs at best.

Wow, she has been running me so ragged getting this, getting that doing this, that I haven't even had time to post an update on here.  So far behind in this thread that I doubt I'll be able to catch up.

Just kidding.  She is actually doing amazing and will be returning back to work next week if all goes well at her Dr's appointment tomorrow.  The last time she was there he said that she could start putting weight on it and after a couple days she was walking without crutches...just the air cast.

She has actually felt guilty about taking the time off but there is a big difference between one or 2 thousand steps a day with lots of rest during the day and doing 10 to 12 thousand steps a day without a break and having to move at a quicker pace.

Busy here having our backyard redone....just waiting for a dry day now for the polymeric sand and they are done.  Photos once it's all complete.

That's excellent news.  Happy to hear Vikki is healing nicely😀

Look forward to backyard photos.

Before gambling came to Atlantic City, we spent a lovely weekend at the vacation home of friends in Brigantine.  Last house on the block, yards from the beach. I remember signs along the Parkway advertising gambling to come.  Nobody believed it would happen.  Once the hotels were built, they never cleaned up the surrounding area as promised.  Last visit was 2004.

Hope you "break the bank"!

I thought he pitched on the 12th.Obviously I was wrong.Do not be surprised if they trade him before next season.

A while back when I was having similar issues, someone suggested clearing the cache(?) or clearing the cookies(?) from my phone and it worked.  In fact I had to do this the other day too.

I watched a movie this afternoon about the largest bank robbery ever in Rhodesia Island .It was called Vault.

Weather.com says the rain is going to stop in the Bronx at 11:15pm tonight. I think they should cancel and play tomorrow afternoon at 1pm.

Did some ditch cutting on the farm the other day with the 15” cutter. 4 hours later, 4 farms were cleaned up for the fall. LOL, it could snow tonight so I didn’t have much time left in the season to do it.

It’s amazing how close I can get with something as big as it is.

If we get some nice weather this fall I will trim up the lower limbs, otherwise it’s a job for spring of 2023.

Some of the fall colors are fading, and dropping.  It takes time but it looks cleaner than the neighbour’s ditch.

Wow!  You're selling your beautiful Victorian home and downsizing?  We loved our over 100 year old home back in Staten Island, but it was getting to be too much upkeep with the original clapboard, etc.  Happy house hunting!!

It’s not the home; we love our house.  We’ll never live in a home as beautiful.  It’s the town.  Getting smaller and smaller.  Grocery stores closing…must drive two hours round trip for restaurants or doctors.  Contractors are few and far between and only interested in a whole home remodel.  I’ve tried for three years to get a ground floor bathroom made accessible…no luck.  No bonded house cleaning services…. And my last family member died last year and I realize I have no family there anymore…most of my friends have also passed…. I need a larger town, a smaller newer home and a wider pool of potential new friends.

Beautiful color.

We saw spectacular Fall foliage color once near Woodstock, Vermont during a weekend getaway.  I saw colors that I never saw on leaves before.

OB will appreciate this.  Our favorite place to visit when we lived in New York was the New England area.

Sigh,,,,  I am sorry that you are struggling.  It gets hard.  No doubt about it.

Nnoooooo.

Lol, sorry.  I'm one of those guys that take my holidays one at a time.   No thinking of Christmas until after Thanksgiving.  Which is an improvement for me. Used to be no Christmas until the first week iof December. I might be in the minority with this. 🙂

However, as the song goes. We  need  little Christmas
