Here are some pictures from the virtual interior cabin. Looking at the picture it looks like a regular balcony cabin until you get closer to the "window". The nightstand is the same as in the aft cabin.

Curious, did you ask for upgrade or did royal do on their own?

I bought 2 dozen roses and a thing of Baby's Breath. Way too much Baby's Breath so I brought the plastic bottle of the extra to Chris in the casino.

 

 

Nightstand. There's plenty of room in the cabin that they could've added 3" or so to both of them. Big fail I think.

Sorry I didn't think to take a picture before I ate some. The picture is of the pork thing (forgot the name of it) that Jane and John like. I wasn't impressed. Maybe it should have been cooked more? It was half fat so I cut the meat out to eat.

 

Where's A C E? In case anyone is interested this is from last week's cruise.

 

I like the old Schooner Bars better.

 

Bonic Bar. I watched, but the poor employee was constantly cleaning up the spills.

Lobster night on last cruise. It was good and not rubbery.

 

Last cruise also. 😁  Lamb with garlic potatoes, spinach and some kind of beans. The beans were odd, but everything else was good.

 

Lunch today. Went to the vegetarian area and found bok choy. Will go looking for it again. Beef curry and vegetable dish both of which were good.  The roti bread was hard and not to good.

 

Hand washing stations going in and leaving the WJ. I'm really liking them plus an employee is directing everyone over to them. 👍

And the tacos pics that didn't post. The Metromover ls nice and Bayside Market and really nice.  I will have to share pics later.  The market, nice boats, a live band playing, a beautiful park like area with beautiful trees.  I am glad we discovered it this time around. I will do it again when we come back to Miami.  And the cute dog that rode with us on the way back.  We are leaving the hotel at 3am.

I put in the minimum bid for a balcony. Since I have read on here that some people don't know if they were upgraded until they get to the port I asked Anna when I might find out. Since they were taking my luggage from our first room to the next I was hoping to find out beforehand. She told me not to unpack until after sail away so I didn't. I got a call right before about the move.

That is a good change from the handwashing stations on Anthem.  The ones on Anthem have a wall across it making it a room with a doorway at either end.  I like the more open option, easier access.

Here are some carnations that I also got from Costco for the Freedom cruises. I had them in a different vase and put them in the champagne bucket and left them for the cabin steward. They had at least another week of life left.

Went to dinner at a local oyster/seafood place. Food is just OK but there’s a nice outdoor area overlooking the intracoastal waterway with live music and nice sunset views.
