Going to take a couple hours to pump off the pool cover.

Guess who slept through the thunder storms last night and didn’t even leave her throne.

Silly question but why are the numbers reversed.  To me it looks like 1” would be a lot more rainfall than 3”

When the rain fills the cylinder it raises the foam fill measuring device rod. 3” of rain will float it up the same amount.

I love that!  Where did you buy it?  Ours is looking pretty sad... Old and discolored.

Well, we got to the supermarket before the rain hit!  Sad, that makes us happy😷 There is still a shortage of cleaning supplies at ShopRite and can’t figure out why.  The dollar stores are better stocked.  Anyway, next week, God willing, we hit the Catskills with our family.🤸🏼‍♀️

Up here in Canada there is a place called Lee Valley. It is a hardware and garden store.

just boarded the first of our three flights back to CO today from Destin. 😢

flying last saturday and this past wednesday were relatively complaint  free besides some delays on the runways, but today is already not starting out well...mostly due to Delta crew at both the gate and the flight. I’m  trying to hold my tongue and remember life can’t be easy for them right now either, but yeah, not having an enjoyable experience.

Delta is having a day today.    https://fox8.com/news/coronavirus/delta-pilot-turns-plane-around-after-2-passengers-refuse-to-wear-masks/

We are getting all the warnings and watches for tomorrow.  Supposed to go into Brooklyn tomorrow but if the winds are high, the Verrazano Bridge is not the place to be!

I worked in Staten Island before the bridge was built.Just imagine being on the SI Ferry during a storm ,it was not fun.

i am hoping that it will not storm tomorrow.I have a door appointment .I have been waiting 8 months due to the virus and also because it is very difficult to get an appointment.Originally it was supposed to storm today where I live but it is sunny and beautiful.

Our appointment in Brooklyn is in the VA hospital.  We go once a month for my husband’s shot.  It messes everything up if we don’t go tomorrow. ☹️

Hopefully you will be able to get there. At least you do not have to go too far from the Belt Parkway.

A few storm pics. We had close to 4” of rain in 24 hours and it was needed. We might have had 1/2” for June and July.

We also had a tornado watch, along with multiple thunderstorm warnings.

After the storms comes the sunset. Glad my camera was charged.

The only think that would make it better... if they were taken from a cruise ship, not standing on a pile of stone dust. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️
