Will our planned group slot pull be allowed on the Majestic!?

I just saw in a live thread from the Emerald, that the casino is not currently hosting any tournaments.

I'm assuming that this is fleet-wide, but as we've all learned over the years, the word "consistency" doesn't seem to be in the Princess dictionary.

Can someone on board kindly ask the casino host if our private group slot pull will be allowed? (40 people)

If they don't allow it, that's fine. I just want to let everyone know now, instead of at the last minute.

We sail on November 6th.

If casino is open (true) and slots are operating (true), how could they stop pax from using a machine?

I didn't see groups of onlookers in the Majestic casino when we were on.

I didn't see any smokers either, which was great, since were masked inside.

We will be back onboard this weekend.

A handful of people doing a Slot pull could be fun, been there, done that.

But in covid times, I can't imagine 40 participants congregating in a small area?

That could be the issue.

But, but, but...

It's in the casino.

The one place gambling should be allowed!

Just got off of the phone with the casino department.

Thankfully, I was connected with someone other than the grumpy lady we all know and love (not!)

Unfortunately, they were unable to tell me anything other than I need to ask if we can have our slot pull once we are on board.

Of course gambling is allowed!

But they are talking about a Group Slot Pull where there are supposed to be 40 participants GROUP Playing " a " slot Machine.   😮

NOT 40 people playing on 40 different machines.

Thats the issue.

I would hate to be the poor sap playing the machine next to the Huge group! 😵

Can you say, Noooooooo distancing?

It's not as if that person is glued to the seat, they can move somewhere else anytime they please.

We'll do our best to socially distance ourselves, and I'll see if we can have some hand sanitizer nearby for everyone to use after playing.

I have an idea (probably a bad one).  Talk to the CD about having some Cruise Staff person video and other host the group pull.  Only a couple of people (the puller and the record keeper) present at a time.  The  "host" and/or record keeper explains the concept of a group pull, all 40 puller's pulls are filmed, and then the record keeper presents the results.  All of the group members might be in a lounge for the video to be aired, and it could be on the ship's TV channel, to introduce the wider audience to the concept of a group slot pull.

I've never done a group pull.  I signed up for one once on the Roll Call, but we were too busy doing our own thing to show up for the group pull when it actually happened.
