Happy New Year to Everyone.  Hope this finds everyone well and happy.

I was shocked that I couldn't use my expired passport as ID for getting vaccine app on my phone.  Was it really that long since I last cruised?  Yes!

I've seen more zimmer frames and oxy bottles one Princess cruise than I've seen on five HAL cruises.

I always dreamt of a Maasdam cruise as they did such great itineraries, but feedback always was it needed repair. Is it still cruising?

The Maasdam was sold off by HAL in July 2020 and is now sailing as the MS Aegean Myth out of Piraeus (Athens) Greece.

My last cruise was Auckland/Sydney Feb 2020 on Maasdam. It was in excellent condition. It would rank as a favourite for me over, say, Oosterdam and Noordam. Sadly, Maasdam is now gone.
