Drink Package

Theoretically it is possible but if you order more than one drink in a certain amount of time it alerts the bartender and also may be blocked out.   Also your picture pops up on the cash register when you present your card.

I personally don't think it is appropriate to try to cheat and abuse the package.

A possible alternative might be to order her drink between the CC free drinking hours if a qualifying CC member.

Assuming you are both in the same cabin, just wondering how you are the only one with a package?  Usually the drinks package must apply to both persons in the room….for the very reason about which you’re asking. If she’s one and done, try taking on some wine on embarkation. She can pour herself a glass in the cabin to walk around with in the evening.

I have a drink package (me only).

What happens if I use my package and get my Significant Other a drink. She's one and done so I don't want a package for her.

It is like driving a car and speed , if you get caught you have to pay the price

but I wouldn’t worry about it

The only thing I can assume is he has a drink package from his casino status.

To answer your question directly you would have to order one drink from your card and then wait 15 mins or so and order the second drink from another bar.

Celebrity doesn't have the restriction in the cruise planner that everyone in the room needs to purchase the beverage package. This is not the case for Royal.

Celebrity does NOT require both in the same cabin to buy the same, or any, drink package.

That is correct.  But both must book the same Cruise Only or AI rate.  ThevOP could have booked Cruise Only and is planning to purchase just 1 beverage package to share with his SO. He is looking for confirmation that he won’t get caught stealing.

Interesting   that X does not require both people in a cabin to buy a drink pkg  , We also sail Holland America   & on that line booking both  parties in a cabin  must buy their drinks pkg  .

For our 2   B2B  cruises   March 2023 on Soltice   we have the Net 60 pkg  from  the Blue Chip Dept   which includes ppd gratuities , classic  drink packages &   wifi    all free  . We paid for our balcony cabin /7 also hot a very good price there as well 😃

GeorgiaPeaches, At the initial booking, on Celebrity, both must choose the same package. After that, there is no requirement that both people have the same packages. So one could upgrade and the other not. Or, if there was no package chosen at all during the booking, one can purchase a package and the other not.
